Hey all I have a golden puppy coming soon and she will be crate trainedand an indoor doggy of course... My pickle is when she is very young i dont wnat to leave her outside alone whilst im at work - my longest shift is 5 hrs... I am taking time off work to settle her... then later on i am hoping she will come to work with me.. So... Do i give her a play pen in the yard? i worry about shade and what not? Or do i crate her inside... is 5 hrs too long for a young puppy? I have no idea what to do lol ANy ideas? what have u guys done in the past that has or hasent worked??

moose i do the same and they are fine... not pretty but not horrid either LOL i would love to try my hand at making my own but i have one terrier and he is 15 and doesnt eat much so it works out better cost wise nad time wise to use the patties fingers crossed when i get the goldie baby i will hand do it again

Hi Westiemum .... I know Andisa and in all my contact with her, food and its quality is very high on her agenda. Westiemum - odd question but do u work for or sell either of the discussed products? I only meant to bring this up as a general discussion i never meant for it to be blown out of th water like this the reasons why the compaines departed ways is kinda beside the point i just wanted to know if anyone was getting similar reactions.. and some are some arnt question answered I value EVERYONES opinons equally as i know we all have the puppers best interests at heart

For the texture to change that much you can only guess how much the product had to change for it to be so noticeable. Not only does it contain so much linseed that it coats the poo in such a way it looks to have been rolled in linseed the smell has also changed. I do not trust VIP pet foods and could not continue to buy Dr B's Barf. My dogs did not like the new Dr B's Barf and they were itchy - putting that down to the excess amount of linseed because they never had a problem with it before. I was a distributor of Dr B's Barf for several years and this decision was not taken lightly but was necessary. Not only were my dogs not happy with the change but customers who had been purchasing it from me for many yrs were also not enjoying it either. I told some how to make it themselves when supplies were difficult and to feed holistic dry food - or wait. Those who waited have been much happier with the change over to Big Dog and so are we. Agree with everything u have said Andisa!! As other have said there is always two sides and the side we got direct from big dog... puts Br B in the silly section so i guess we wont know the answer... We will soon be stocking the big dog and will not be feeding or selling the dr b's i still think the world of him as a vet and what not but the change in these paties makes me cringe :S Its raw meat and my boy WILL NOT TOUCH it he just hngs out for his bones and is dropping weight... at 15 this is just not good enough... clients have also noticed the change and have boxes of BARF that isnt being eaten and are pissed to say the least that there money is going down the drain everynight

So my old man is on BARF patties for dinner and all of a sudden he wont eat it - it was the same time they changed their packaging... We sell barf at the kennels where i work and we recieved a call from a new company, they wanted a meeting... so we obliged..turns out Dr B's used to use them to manufactur the patties and they had a falling out... now they have changed how it is made and the ingredients with the new company... So these peeps have made a brand for the patties they used to make and are selling it for themselves so we are changing to Big Dog BARF It is the OLD recipe!! So excited to get the old boy to eat again!! and to sell it as our clients noticed the change and so did our cash flow! so my question is how many others noticed the difference? what gave it away? and will u be changing? Edited to make sence lol

i follwed grp 5 the first time i came hehe cheater i know bahaha so glad ur coming parrot!! puppie cuddles!! i would offer u my number in case u get lost but i will be late as usual and i dont really know my way around :S

kepala is a place in Diggers rest where a group of DOL peeps catch up for play dates! sometimes there is up to 30 of us and other time just a small handful, but it is always fun!! We all bring a plate and cook up a BBQ fo lunch and the puppers get pigs ears :D check out the pinned thread in DOL social, it has all the dates and info in there - i dont know if 2011 dates have been added yet but its the second sunday of every month

SG there is going to be soooo may puppie at kepala this yr!! there is the standard poodle baby that i am kidnapping *cough* cuddling, my goldie, ur smoothie, lappiemums lappie, the lil jap spitz is still coming... and the list goes on!!! how fun :D I wish u lived closer whisked away so i ould cuddle halo for u!!!

maybe he doesnt like it? eats it later when he is really hungry? maybe it is a accidentally trained thing as well he did it a few times in a row and someone maybe the breeder or urself sat with him whilst he ate it... so now he thinks u need to bethere wiht him?? dont know lol

hey guys, was reading the other thread about walls and thought i should post here and not hijack!! So i am looking to get walls for my new deluxe compact oztrail and i cant decide which to get?? i think the silver mesh would be good so i shall look into those... but as for general walls... was thinking the ones with windows would be good to let heavy wind pass through rather then hit the wall flat out... i dont know so tell me what u have and if u like it or dont like it thanks in advance!!
