i think ill come along to the june comp as my baby's first show will be a few weeks afterwards! will mean my older girl misses out on her swim but we can make it a differnt day!!

yup i agree with alot said.. rough judges or ones who couldnt give a crap Dogs and people milling around the front of ur gazebo so u both cant see or get out from under it dog peeing on gear sore losers sore winners had a good one this weekend my dogs breeders and i set up our stuff (indoors so no gazebos) we faced all our crate doors into a centre line to make it easier to get them in and out and all that jaz.. so people turned up at last minute and had nowhere to set up... they jammed in behind us and then proceeded to use out walk way as their own person chatting point.. one was leaning on MY crate telling to get out of her way she cant see.. ummm i had some choice words... people not watching their puppies and letting them chew my mats and chairs etc... ok im stopping... bahahahahhhahahha

for goldens we tend to dry the coat completly and then if needed they wear a satin lined coat to flatten however it can take out alot of volume sometimes

do it tollers it will be fun u need a break!

u can get dryers pretty cheap these days i would aim to get a dryer instead u wont believe the difference it will make to her coat

grp 3minor was a springer and junior was the lab, inter was the cocker and open and aust bred her big and rubig :)

fair enough! i know a good brand which are strong but being a bit softer on the neck may make it useless!! if i see some black chains ill let u know!

if i was exhibiting agaisnt the DQ fault i would have spoken up - even if i beat it! not like they are weighting an ear down and it can be hidden that dog is CLEARLY not allowed in the ring!!! i would NEVER exhibit a dog with a DQ like this the judge should not have done so either! i have no idea of a better way to go about it... no help there! we are still trying to get aussie judges to accept cream goldens WHICH ARE ALLOWABLE IN THE STANDARD lol!!!!! so really i have the opposite issue hahaha

does it have to be metal?? if he is good on a lead and sounds like he is?? i would suggest a fabric slip collar - u know those thinner round ones with a metal ring for attached the lead?? they would blend in nicely and people seems to think they are much nicer the a chain and dont comment as much LOL

i have a new rising star!! A baby puppy Frenchie!! her name is Anook - Tuffsteen Lady Blackjack her daddy is a swedish import so we are very excited about this lil mite!! i shall get some pics soom and post!! at town and country - her second show... she won a large baby bitch class - 5 entered and then went one better with baby of breed! our good friend Annette won baby in gro with her STUNNING dane Dash!
