I hope Macey is ok. I paniced when Ella had a two hour nap between puppies, she wasn't straining so relaxed a little, then she woke up to have the next pup. She come out GASPING for air and her chest was crackerly,I spent 15 minutes trying to get her going (the longest 15 minutes of my life) Thankfully she come good and after two hours she started suckling well. I'm such a worry wart when it comes to this kind of stuff but kept calm for her sake. I would be taking Macey to the vets, right away. Anyway, Ella had a vet appointment this morning for mastitis, got an injection and some tablets and sent on our way. The boob has gone down dramatically but to be on the safe side will continue to watch it One of the kids is being suppliment fed and she is coming along well now, fingers crossed she will keep gaining weight.

I'm so glad for you Ellz, as well as Koda. Poor girl. She looks so round. Good luck either way the whelping goes, I'm sure you'll keep us updated.

For some reason I was looking for a rottie (shows how much sleep I have had!) I will say 6.

Ellz : When your girl has 11 I'll send my OH to you he'd gladly take a couple off your hands! I think she is VERY full, but for your sanity I hope she if carrying more fluid than pup. Mollipop: Thank you (and apoligies as I missed your post before) I love the blues and knew it was only a 9% chance of getting blue, but getting two (one of each sex) was such a suprise :nahnah:

Update as requested Ella had seven puppies one blue/white male, two black/white males, three black/white girls (one couldn't be revived ), and one blue/white girl. For a first time mum she is wonderful! The fourth born girl (Blue/white) didn't look like she'd make it as she was gasping for air, but thankfully recovered and started sucking, she's my favourite, not the most glamourous markings but she was the blue I wished for and Ella delivered her at 1.30 this morning which is my birthday :D

I was going to post pregnant photos of Ella, as she has 4 days to go... But I'm awake at this hour to help deliver her puppies! 3 so far

HELP!!!! Ok, I have brought a new camera (Sony A230Y) yesterday and have been testing it out. my almost 6 week old puppy photos, I'm very happy with but this morning I took two of the dogs for a run and captured a STUNNING photo of Ella... Got home, and I'm not too happy with it, I didn't want to 'touch it up' with photoshop but now I think I'll need too. How do I improve on this type of shot? I'm not very happy :D Here it is... Photo is huge to show photo
