Ella had her puppies on the 30 June! 10 black and white babies, 9 girls and 1 boy. unfortunately two girls and the only boy were stillborn. The other 7 babies are going really well :D

We counted 6 on the ultrasound, I think there could be more than that. Maybe 8 (?)

Here is Ella, 16 days to go.

Ella is due the 2nd July. U/S showed 6 puppies.

It sounds to me like TNS and I am so sorry you, your family and this poor little guy is going through this. DNA testing for TNS is not the most expensive of hereditary tests we have, in fact it was one of the cheapest, Dr Alan Wilton did a wonderful job at finding this gene and all of the BC breeders today will be forever grateful for it. Sadly Dr Wilton passed away which is why the Uni have attempted to take over. I, personally, wouldn't be taking any of their pups regardless if they offered your boys brother and he was / is 'healthy'. Not only should this 'breeder' never breed the parents together again, they shouldn't breed full stop. They sound very careless and heartless to say the least. I would be demanding my money back if it does come down to your pup being affected with TNS. You will have document evidence to help back you up if you plan to fight for your money. Can I ask how much you paid for him? I would recommend buying from a registered Border Collie breeder, only way to ensure you 'get what you pay for'.

Very sad day yesterday, our beloved Cocky the Galah passed away. He was the family pet but my 9 year old adored him, she is very upset that he is gone, I feel awful that she found him. Day 34 Day 35 Day 36

Well, Ella is due tonight going from the first mating, but I don't see her whelping until Saturday (from the second mating) She ate all her breakfast, lunch and half her dinner today/tonight. I guess we're in for another restless night :laugh: Congrats Kerry on your litter.

Those are just the Border Collie photos. I borrowed my mentor's photo albums and she's been breeding for over 30 years and I scanned all her's and printed them out. I now have six 300 sleeve photo albums just with her photos alone... I'm not even up to printing my own yet! Its only early days and I've already fallen behind

I've just ordered my purple with black pawprints from Peperone's. Can't wait to use it ;)

Impatiens, My camera has a setting. I'm not too good with programs on the computer ;) If you search for Sony Alpha A55, thats my camera. I'm surprised no one else is doing this or have stopped taking photos. Gets a little boring being here alone hehe. Alot of my photos are either black/white or of Border Collies :laugh:
