My 2 would be no help! Benny does bark - at everything - if someone next door closes their door, he barks; a car pulls up outside, he barks; a car door is closed 3 blocks away he barks. he's like the boy who called wolf! And he'd be the first out the back door if there was a baddie at the front!

Although it's saddening - this is why people NEED to watch these shows. They NEED to know what really goes on out there. They REALLY need to know that dogs are put to sleep because of the actions of uncaring people. They NEED to see what the consequences of neglect really are. They NEED to realise there ARE people like this out in the world... They need to know as it's the only way of showing some of the reality and hopefully motivating people to want to do something to change it. Too many turn a blind eye, think it's a one off occurence... think that pounds and rescue take in dogs, rehabilitate them and send them on their way to the never ending supply of perfect forever homes. The public need to see that's not the case. And they need it to be brutal so they remember it and it shocks them. It needs to make people angry, evoke strong emotions... and educate in some small way. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be aired, I think it's great that it shows what does go on out there. I however DO know what goes on out there and I get so upset and mad at it all. it's for my own sanity that I don't watch it anymore. I would be depressed for days sometimes and for someone that suffers depression/bi polar normally that's not a good idea That is so cool that Charlotte got a great home!

I have to put in my 2 cents here! $9000 is way to low a fine! I think the fines need to be higher and people who are convicted banned from owning dogs ANYWHERE EVER!! It just makes me so mad/upset to hear/see of situations like this. That's why I don't watch this show anymore! I end up yelling at the TV sometimes! But the good thing is it is increasing peoples awareness of what is out there. That is one thing we need and that is education for people before they go out and buy a dog from any old where and they decided to breed. its a vicious circle! Anyway, will get off my soap box now!!

I second the floor boards. We have them all through the house and they rock! So much easier to keep clean and clean, though they do show the hair a lot more than carpet! But still a lot easier!

I agree on all of the above! But another thing I'd like - it has been mentioned - is 24 emergency. And not just a pager an actual number to call and speak to the vet.

I just use a bum bag. I bought one off ebay that also had a bottle holder to carry water on walks. A bit daggy I know, but then again, that's me!!
