yes quite thin compared to the bladder type mats... and definatly easy to travel with!! they are decieving and dont look like they would do much but they stay cool for ages.... and if you want you could put it in the fridge or freezer i guess.... i use fridge cold water when its available....

we have these ones for the sibes.... they just lie on them all day in the summer!! and i quite frequently walk acros them too LOL really simple to use.... just soak in water and squeeze out... they come with a big snap lock bag so they are easy to use when at shows etc. http://www.coolingapparel.com.au/k9_cooling_mats.htm

yes agree.... and being the owner of sibes researching and talking to others is very important..... i didnt initially intend to buy a purebreed dog i just wanted information on the breed so i wasn't bringing home a breed couldnt look after.... but as a teacher (well almost.... 3 months away!) i was wondering how you would suggest implementing this type of educatio in the classroom? im all for it and love when students in my placement classes ask about my dogs and i tell them abut showing and racing...... interested in your thoughts =D

how exactely do you make signatures?? i have a trial of photoshop and i can fiddle with pictures and layer stuff but cant work out how to do sigs. and how do you put the paw prints etc on them?? sorry newbie.... thanks in advance for help!

hey all hows it going?? would anyone out there like to have a go at making me a new sig? i hav another addition!! LOL can be black/white if u like that but if colours are used could they include pink and purple (cleo wears a purple collar and CJ has a pink on LOL) no biggy if u cant!! i will live!! =P also wanted to know what specific programs you use when making sigs etc. as i would love to be able to make my own and for others once i feel they are good enough =) would assume that same program would just come in handy for editing photos aswell. cheers!! I've had a case of: 'if it looks to good to be true, it probably is' For those who keep an eye on the classifieds section of DOL (the ad has now been removed but doesnt mean it won't come up again) or any other pet classifieds sites beware of an 'icecube dog trailer/camper 4 berth' IT IS A SCAM! I thought I had found the perfect trailer (I own sibes and run them in harness so a camper on the trailer was great) AND she had a 'friend' driving from QLD to somewhere VERY close to me this weekend.... i was thinking could it get any better?? Until I googled icecube so I could have a look at their trailers.... although they are no longer being made one of the search results was a post on a pet classifieds/forum site alerting people to a woman trying to sell an icecube dog trailer/camper with HER photos of her trailer and stated that it was sold 2 years ago to people she knows. So I emailed this person to enquire as to whether my perfect trailer was in fact dodgy.... thinking that the seller was using old photos and the trailer was a bit more used looking...... but no.... THE WOMAN DOESNT EVEN OWN THE TRAILER!! SHE IS JUST USING THE PHOTOS TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!! I was very lucky! So posting this in the hope no one else gets ripped off! PS if anyone knows of a LEGITIMATE dog trailer with a camper on it for sale let me know, I would b very interested!! =D

im really good friends with my breeders!! wen i showed an interest in showing they spoke with the owner of the other parent of my girl to make sure it was ok before upgrading her to MR and have supported me all the way!! they also helped me and OH to get into sledding and we camp with each other at the races and they give heaps of help and more support again! they are absolutely fantastic girls and i duno wat i would have done without them!! i will have lifetime support from them for my furries!! and they are great friends!! its a shame that not everyone has had the same experience that i have (even if i wasnt good friends with them i would still have their support and help with my dogs)

it isnt rocket science but re-explaining the whole LR and MR definitions obviously isnt gettin through even though it is really very simple! LR and un papered: as most hav sed are 2 different things.... on a LR i know and can prove my dogs pedigree...... no papers i can prove anything and would hav no idea where my dog came from... other than wat the breeder told me which may or may not be true. im not a breeder but totally understand not putting all pups on the MR..... too many BYB's and you cant trust everyone in the world..... yes u sign a contract but does a piece of paper really cant stop u breeding.... will mean there are repercussions though..... there is not need for a person who buys a puppy as a pet for them to be on the MR... if they express an interest in showing most breeders would discuss this option with them my girl was updated from the LR to the MR for the purpose of showing only as i showed an interest and i hav absolutely no intention of breeding with her..... i bought her as a pet and obviously didnt expect her to come with MR papers....... i realise not everyone has such accomodation breeders.....

lunging to attack or just to check out your dog? and does a lunging /pulling dog on a lead make them aggressive?? cos its no often that my sibe isnt pulling on her lead but its not cos shes aggressive.......... and because shes doing that does it make me incompetent and a bad owner??

i work sundays =[ might come down for a look on my lunch break if i can!!

zero isnt broken!! the weather cools down a bit and the sibes go off their nut cos thats wat they were bread to do.... run and run and run!!! BRING ON RACE SEASON!!! they all wen nuts here (breeders house) wen we got back from pet expo show hooning around the massive yard LOL as to the water side of things cleo is part duck..... wen she was a pup used to dig in her water bowl and buckets...... INSIDE!!! doesnt do that anymore but still really loves her clam pool and wil hop in any time its out.... in summer she has layed down in it a few times but usually just walks in it and puts her face in chasing dog knows wat!! and yes also likes to zoomie it up in the rain...... which is why she is kept inside wen its raining (toilet breaks obviously but supervised LOL) mainly cos she has such a big coat that takes ages to dry and i donw want to hav to bring out the dryer every time it rains!!

awsome shots evolving!! i work voluntarily at the zoo in the education dept. and i got to see her at 3 days old at a special staff viewing!! very prescious little ( ) thing and everyone at zoo is very happy baby was a girl as that means she can stay and become a part of the breeding program.

Way too hot, but it was lovely when the cool breeze came through off the bay at lunchtime. Did notice the dip in ring 6 but it didn't bother my dog or the grass for that matter but a big thank dog for the steward. Being a newbie with a judge who spoke no English I had no idea what to do or what I was doing, how embarrassing I had to go in 5 times with one dog and was stuffed after the first time, got home, threw the kids in the pool for a little while, had a pizza and bottle of wine with tea, fed doggies and horses and was snoozing on the couch by 6.30 Lovely show and will be back next year for sure yes he is such a nice steward!! ive only been showing for about a year so still very new but have so much support from my breeders but we seem to have him a lot in group 6 and he makes less nerve wracking LOL !!

HAHAHA lang lang was closer and yes way too hot for me!! feel for those who have mutiple dogs entered...... i had to go in twice with cle and help with a run off and i was stuffed!!! LOL thank dog for the shaved ice lady!!! =D

Who barked most of the time during the best in group! BIG For Group 1 was the Pug (From Puppy) RUIG was the Cav Baby was the Pug (Elaine and Trevor) That's all I saw Fantastic day at the show! To the van who supplied the sausage sizzle..... THANK YOU! Nice to eat something that was bbq'ed! group 6 ring was great.... not!! had a massive dip through it!! LOL
