im not sure this is just what the vet assistant was telling me this morning she is also friends with his daughter in law and it has come straight from the daughter in law what happened (with ripping the dog tp shreds) and the fact that he doesnt want charges pressed.like i said at least the male dog is still there you would think that if they were going to be destroyed they wouldnt still be there either way im going to put another complaint in today like i said to the vet nurse if it had have happened to my dogs they would have been destroyed all ready they are like a timebomb just waiting to go of like i said yesterday the really sad thing is it could have all been prevented

the male dog howled the whole day yesterday arvo so he must be tied or locked up i have no idea about the bitch.i going to put in a noise complaint about him today i think i was talking to my neighbour across the road from me just before and they are going to do the same.this neighbour has already had a few run ins with the owner of the dogs about them wondering around. maybe if there is enough complaints something will have to be done i dont tknow the dog owner personally but i do know his daughter in law am going to try and see her to see if she can talk him into pressing charges

hi again just got a update at the vets when i took my boy up for vaccinations. apparently not only did the dogs killl this mans dog but they ripped him in half and then tryed to rip him in half again overkill i think BUT the person that owned the old dog killed is not pressing charges i have no idea why not i know i would be that is why the dogs are still at the house i wonder how long its going to be before they attack again and what its going to be this time i just cant understand him not getting something dona about it. surely these dogs would now have to be contained either by chain or penn you would think i just hope the next victim isnt a child or a elderly person

hi yes actually it is a corner block i wasnt aware that council had to cover half the cost of the fence on corner blocks. regardless she has had ample time and a few warnings from the ranger ,she is aware of what the dogs are like. im not sure whats going on with them.she must have at least the male still there as i have hear him howling all afternoon which he only does when he is chained up. im not sure if the female is still there or not.

casowner i pretty sure all the pups are sold at 6 weeks also no vaccs,microchipping etc just worming from what i can gether i only know the people that own them to see up the if i run into them up the st.have never asked them about the dogs or if they vacc etc i do know a girl here in town who brought one of the pups paid $800 for it no vacc or microchipping.as far as i know dad is purebred(im not sure if he has papers) i do know mum is xbred neomastiff x im not sure but she was advertising the pups as pure neo mastiffs. im pretty sure all the pups minus the 4 the 2 adult dogs killed are sold i havent heard or seen any pups over there for about a fortnight. And yes his ears are cropped they look worse in real life as they are quite short i dont know if they brought him like that or did it themselves when he was a pup i get the impression that the male might be papered not that i have seeen any proof of it but she has told people that she paid $5000 for him i have no idea of the price range of a neomastiff so dont know if this is excessive or not i feel its a sad situation all round as i think he in particular could have been a nice dog if he was brought up in the right environment

hi again sorry just got back from picking my daughter up from school yes the pics were on a add and also on facebook (a friend of mine has pics of them as she was going to buy a pup thankfully i talked her out of it

no its not a boundry fence they had to put up.their front fence is about 4/possibly 5 foot foot chain link fence (like school fences) then the sides and back is 6 foot tin fence.it was just a fence to seperate back from front as the dogs had free run of the yard and was jumping the front fence. i really do think they have signed their own death warrent with the amount of complaints already against them and this i would be suprised if they are not put to sleep. like i said at the moment she still has them she must have the male chained up as he has been howling all afternoon and he only does that whens hes chained up its a sad situation all round which could have been avoided with some common sense

this lady has kids of her own the dogs seem fine with them but they know them.they certainly aint friendly to children and adults they dont know.i know theyre is a difference between da and human agression but they have proved time and time again they are both. i really dont know how she expected lattice work and plasic garder chairs to stop them getting out just laziness on her part

yep i dont know if they got issued a fine but they were made to put the side fence up as when they first moved in it was just one who yard no front separed from the back.like i said kids used to go down this st all the time but you are lucky to see any know most walk down another road on the way home.if it had been my house there is no way i would have put lattice up i think that they were just looking for the cheapest solution . it would have been fine prob for dogs smaller and not as powerful as these two dogs i know this lady is had pics up on a add when she was selling the pups i will try and find a photo of the dad to show everyone he is huge

i agree i hope he does something about it if it had of been my dogs they killed i would be getting something done about at the end of the day it may have been the dogs that killed the other dog at fault but it was the owners laziness and stupidity that caused it.

our council down here is pretty lax with dogs the ranger we have now is only new and things have become slightly better he has been cracking down on a lot of the stray dogs roaming the streets.imo all dogs should should be contained safely in their own property,regardless of size,temperemnt etc

yep like i said its been a time bomb waiting to happen,im just glad it wasnt a little child trying to walk past with a dog as their is quite a few familys with kids further down in the next block.most people around this area know better to then to walk past the house though we all learn fairly early on to be careful of them . i have personally called the ranger on them twice once when they were out roaming the 2nd time they actually chased my father who had to come back to his place and get his car to drive to mine. its makes me wilder that they know what the dogs are like she herself has admitted the bitch bites people.i really dont know how they expected the lattice to keep the dogs in,the female is bigger enough but the male is enormous a very big dog. i have heard that they are supposed to be getting destroyed but like i said they are still there at the moment so im not sure whats going on another example of how what could have been good dogs with proper socialisation etc are ruined and now looks like they are going to pay with their lives for their owners stupidity

hi well this could have been prevented and has been coming for a whilejust after xmas people moved into the house on the corner from us (she brought the house0it is a huge house with a huge yard but no side fence seperating the front yard from the back yard.the front yard has a chain link front fence.Anyway the people who moved in have a neo mastiff dog a xbreed neo mastiff bitch a kelpie and a little bitzer dog.Since they moved in their has been numourous issues with the 2 big dogs at first just barking then they realised they could jump the front fence quite easily and started chasing people and other dogs.where this house is quite a few kids live further down and a few of them have been chased by the two big dogs.People (myself included have resorted to walking around the block or down other streeets to get home and no way knowing would anyone walk their dogs past there. Anyway the ranger had been called their a few times and eventually they were made to put a side fence up anfd what did they use (lattice work )now the male of the dogs is enormoude probably the biggest dog in this town.the bitch isnt much smaller. the lattice work worked for a few weeks then the big boy realised thay could just break straight through it so know thry have wholes all through the lattice work so they decide the easiest thing to do is put plastic garded chairs in front of the wholes in the lattice work like thats going to stop them. these same two dogs had a litter of i think it was 11 pups about 6 weeeks ago when the pups were about 5 weeks old the male killed four of them anyway it all came to a head last sunday night the two dogs got out in the early hrs of the morning went around the block got into a old mans backyard and ripped to pieces hes 12 yr staffy cross,the people across the road heard the commotion and came out to stop and the male dog chased them away. the ranger was called but by the time he got there the dogs had dissapeared and all that wa left was the dead dog. i have been told that the 2 bigs dogs are supposed to be getting put down but they as yet havent been seized as she still has them in the yard i seen them this morning this could have been prevented she knows what they are like the ranger has been there about 3 or 4 times easily now. its not just that they are dog aggressive they are people aggresive as well. how long until some one gets seriously hurt i feel sorry for the man who lost his companion of 12 yrs,that was secured in his yard asleep,i feel sorry for the people that had to witness what happened to this dog i even feel sorry for these two dogs that done it as its in the way they have been raised,if the owners had used half a brain and put better fencing up it may not have come to this As it is one family has lost their companion,two more dfogs it looks like will loose their life,and all because they werent contained properly.

hi yes they are pretty creepy rats aint they .and by this i mean the wild rats i know people say tame ones make fantastic pets but wildones are another story imo.anyway to get back on topic i have staffords and across from where we live and about half a block there is and old recycling centre.it has heaps of rats.as we live so close and on my place out the back we have quite thick gardening and some grape vines every couple weeks we get a rat show up and believe me if my dogs can get its dead in a second.my little girl has made rat catching into a fine art im sure,its like she spyhops through the garden just waiting to come across one. needless to say ive had to pick up a few dead rats and im lucky in that the dogs only kill them not rip them to piece still isnt particulary pleasent. as yet none of the dogs have got sick hopefully never will. i just dispose of the carcass as quickly as possible. as previous posters have said i would think if they havent eaten they should be fine just keep an eye on your girl

hi again all i just have a quick question regarding registeration for our pups.On the forms it says that all the pups in the litter have to be registered we lost our runt at 4 days so my question is do we put her down on the forms as well and just put deceased beside her or do we not put her down on the forms at all.all help would be appreciated thanx

hi sbt and choc_bordercollie,thanx so much for the links i have read them and with what i have read and the symptoms our little girl had i am tending to think it is more then likely failure to thrive,she didnt present any of the symptoms of what was descibed for fading puppy syndrome.all the rest of the pups are fit and well mum is doing a great job thanx

hi leanne,mum and bubs have been fine unfortunatley we lost the runt today,the vet believes it may have been fading puppy syndrome. the rest of the bubs are going gfantastic and mum is a great mum

hi again ellz,No if their was any dog i wish i could have used it wouldnt be chaege again this was a one of mating ,i have been told that he would be far better over our black girl i had been told that she needed a bit more bone(this was from a showing lady and she suggested he may be able to provide it.like i said im still learning and have quite obviously could have used a better boy. the people who have requested main register one lady was thinking about showing/but like i said i think i will just tell tell them that i will wait to the breeder of my girl to come and evaluate them like isaid i have a few weeks yet like i said thanx for all your replies bye

hi all first i want to say to aziah thanx for the offer of the show list that would be great if you could send it to me.thank you to everyone else criticism can be a hard thing to take but apparently i have a lot to be criticised for.i dont know exactley how the subject of the price of the blue dogs got brought up i could maybe understand it if i was showing everyone a litter of blue pups which they are not,as in regards to their weight i have told people that they have lost a lot of weight i Know they were too fat ,the two blue girls are very hard to keep weight of even though they get fed no more then the others. in regards to price of the blues we didnt pay anywhere near as much as what they are asking the older blue girl was our first ever registed staffy she was not brought as a puppy mill machine and as i have said neither blue girl has to date had pups. i do realise that the blue /blue fawns are frowned upon,these are my parents dogs not mine.the impression i get though is all our dogs are shit. i spent a lot of time talking to different breeders about the lines etc that i was looking for in the two blacks and our two reds. if you think about it noone is perfect and i could have been another byb breeder not giving a shit about our dogs (before we bring up the obese angle again)i know they were to fat. they could have been a bag of bones laying in the backyard pumping puppy after puppy out But instead i though i would try to do the right thing lear what i could,talk to as many diff people as i could research as much as i could,do the testing for the dogs etc the people who are looking at getting pups on main register did request this . i m not sure know exacletly what im going to do i really dont know the papers havent been put in yet so have a couple weeks to decide.i have asked the breeders of mum and the lady i got my blac/brindle girl to evaluate them and tell me their honest opionions in a couple weeks.both these people have shown a fair bit that is why im getting their opionion In short i just wanted to show people my pups that i am so proud of i really didnt think it was going to cause all this I know you all have your opionions and most of you have been breeding and showing for years and years that is why i like coming on here it is a wealth of knowledge And for your opionion we are not one of the people who would ask $3000 for a dog no matter if it shitted gold nuggets. for those who have been as nice as they can thankyou the other people you dont know me and i dont know you so i cant really say anything can i i thank you for your opionions also thanx

hi again if you had read my last post,i had said that yes i was told that they were 2 fat,they have lost a lot of weight this particular pic was taken about 4 mths ago .thanx everyone for your comments .for the people who dont seem to complain about everytthing about our dogs i thank you for the other peole who dont like agree etc i thank you to im not a complainer,whinger i will take all criticism good and bad and hope to learn from it to better ourselves.the original post was just to show of our very exciting beautiful first litter that we are extremly excited about and love to death even if they aint everyones cup of tea. im not here to argbue hopefully just to lear remember everyone has to start somewhere thanx for your comments
