I'm new to this thread, and train agility with Lottie, my aussie shep! We have our first comp coming up - ADAA - in a few weeks, and i'll just be doing NFC :D I just want to see if we're ready to get out and start competing, and what we need to work on. We've been doing alot of work with our weaves, and today shes been weaving 8 poles confidently and consistently - we still have alot to learn and work on (lot her looking back for the reward everytime - I've got a few things to change so that doesn't happen, such as producing the reward earlier infront!!) but i'm soooo proud of her :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuKik1eOnrY

I was looking for names for ages before Lottie arrived here - I was always looking on name pages to try and come up with something. And then I saw the name 'Lottie' and LOVED it!!! I also had the name 'Ava' picked out as well (luckily I didn't go with that, as there's now another aussie called Ava on here ;) :D ), but I wasn't going to decide until I met her - well she bowled into my life and was definitely a Lottie!! I think it suits her sooo much!! I kind of have my next name picked out - I love the name 'Josie'!! So, hopefully by the time I get another Aussie I can use it :D

I dable in a few different sports, purely for the fun of it, as I really enjoy being out with Lottie and having a good time with friends. I've competed in obedience, but my nerves are getting the better of me so i'm having a little break from it... and i've also just entered out first jumpers trials for agility :D - super exited about that!! I've also joined the local flyball club for a bit of fun, and we're both enjoying it!! Then we do a little herding - will try and get to a couple trials this year and work a bit more on it. And next year I plan on getting Lotties ET when she's old enough :D I just love love love training and being out at comps, and i'm a little crazily obsessed - it's just a shame i'm a crap handler/trainer and I know we won't go very far because of it Ah well.....

I've made all my stuff, just quite cheaply by getting everything from bunnings (except my tunnel which I bought off topbuy when they were selling them for $20!!). This is my latest piece i've made (and was a little proud of it!!). It's fully foldable (the legs and the ramps), so I can carry it myself. Lottie demonstrating.... And this is most of my other stuff.. I have a few more things coming - my friend is making me proper weave sets, and I also have a tyre jump. I might try and take a photo of the little course I have set up tomorrow!! We have about a 1/4 of an acre here, and what you can see in the pic above, its that again on the other side, and alot of room infront. At the moment I have the course set up on the other side of the yard. We do have an annoying well type thing in the middle of the yard though and quite a few trees! But for a rental property, it's great ETA: Athough it's not very flash (i'm a poor uni student ), I find this basic stuff is great for foundation work at home!

Yep, I got a couple of the tug toys as well!!
