  1. Oh thats good - cause I got the Sunday off work!!! And thanks for the lovely comments - she's such a good girl, and she's really kinda switched on the last month or so (With the help of some great people and new training methods ). Can't wait until we're ready to compete, I think it'll be lots of fun!!!!
  2. I think she was meant to sit Yep, exactly!!!!! But her healing was just so nice - and I kinda wish I had asked her because the drop was nice as well, hehehe
  3. I didn't ask her to drop... she did it twice in a row, but her healing was just so nice before that I wanted to add it!!! hehehe Oh, and is the metro trial on the sat or the sun??? I keep hearing Sat the 4th - but Sunday is the 4th and now i'm soooo confused!!!
  4. Yep I shall be there Her hind end awareness is going really well - but with these exams I've been a little slack, but now she's straight back into it!! Can't wait till Monday night - I really need to do some more training!!! I've been out watching the agility states this weekend, so haven't done too much training today, or probably tomorrow....
  5. Hey Everyone!! Well, because i'm on holidays, i've finally done up a video of me and Lottie doing some obedience - we're VERY new to all this (Lottie is my first dog - I didn't even know obedience/agility/dog sports even existed before I had Lottie), and she's still young - just turned 9 months, so be a little gentle on us.... But I always love getting tips/help/comments on ways to improve our training!!! A few things in these clips - my lines aren't straight, some are meant to be like that - kinda getting back into camera shot - and her recall isn't very straight, so we've been working on this.... and lots more... but here's a start..... Oh and I hope the music isn't too annoying.... I was bored... If it is, i won't put it on any future ones!!! hehehe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bupt2cWkmqo
  6. OH SO CUTE!! I want another Aussie baby... mine is getting a little big
  7. :D hahahaha to all those comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't see a kangaroo head though, hahaha - and yes BellaDonna - I can see the Australia too, but I think that kinda looks like Africa as well... a little..... ETA... I just found the Kangaroo head, haha, it's funny what you can find!!!!
  8. And it was soooo worth watching the game tonight - those boys were on FIRE!!! hahaha Anyway, back to the topic - i'm going to have to wait till I get back to Gatton before I upload it (the internet I have here is slow and crap, so I'm not even going to bother trying!!!) - so will have to wait till at least Sat now, hahaha... I might film another round before then and put my best one up I think!!!!
  9. Haha, thank you!! She was wearing it very proudly - and so she should be!!! hahaha
  10. If you kinda squint a little, hold the screen back I think that patch in the middle looks a bit like Africa... Or maybe not What do you guys think???
  11. I think you should definitely start videoing and uploading to youtube You can tell Lottie naturally just loves to work, and spend time with you We should meet up for a training session once your exams are over! I second this, reaaaaaaally wanna see vids of you guys working! Ok, I took a video of me training this arv - if I manage to get it on here i'll let you know If I do, i'd love comments/tips/help - but be nice, hehe - i'm so new to all of this and we have a LONG way to go, and Lottie is still quite youn (9 months), but I love getting help and lessons that can improve out training!!!!!!! Lottie worked well this arv!!!
  12. INDEED!!! (mind you it lasted about 10sec for the photoshoot :D :D ) - she'll be wearing her flag though during the match!!!!!
  13. I know I should be studying... but..... My gorgeous girl supporting QLD!!!! hehehe
  14. I think you should definitely start videoing and uploading to youtube You can tell Lottie naturally just loves to work, and spend time with you :D We should meet up for a training session once your exams are over! YAY!! that would be awesome!!!! I need all the help I can get, hahahahahahaha
  15. Hey Beth I totally missed this! So glad you have popped by the thread Lottie is fantastic, especially for such a young dog, I can't wait to see how you guys go You guys were doing a great job at training the other night :D Thanks Huski!!! I have high hopes for her, so we'll see how we go - you should've seen us at sandgate today - she was AMAZING!!!! Her heeling is coming along so nicely... she's improving in leaps and bounds!!! I love my smart little girl!!!!!!
  16. Thanks so much for the link!!! Yep just one of those days... haha, didn't think of that!!! Off to procrastinate from study a bit more....
  17. Hi everyone... Ok, either i'm overtired, hopeless at googling things, or just blind, but I can't for the life of me find any rules to obedience - as in what movements (I can't even think of the word i'm thinking - my brain has switched off tonight!!) are in each level. Does anyone have a link to the rules for obedience?? Sorry if that post makes no sense, but hopefully someone can help me out!!! Beth
  18. Haha, Daisy is great!!! You know you and her will do brilliantly brilliant on the weekend.... I've come to join the training talk thread - I own a 9month old Aussie Shepherd - she's going AWESOME in training - lots of focus, and really working nice... I can't wait until she's ready to trial.... Tonight she was just so great, so proud of my girl!!!!!! Flick Mac - I think over the holidays we should go down the oval and video each other to put up so we can get some training tips!!!!!!!!!
  19. CONGRATS ON SOME BEAUTIFUL BABIES!!!!! Can't wait to see them grow up!!!!!
  20. I have the same problem.... i'm on the recliner, and Lottie is lying on me, on her back snoring her head off.... I should be studying but don't want to disturb her
  21. Are you in QLD? There's plenty up there! Hi Staff'n'Toller - yep i'm in QLD - Brisbane area!! I really love the look of this breed, but know so little about them!!! Would love to meet up with a breeder to learn more!!!
  22. They sound adorable!!! And are certainly beautiful looking dogs... I would LOVE to meet one in the flesh one day....
  23. Bub - I was so paranoid that Lottie would be taken and someone would pump babies out of her ... All my friends thought I was stupid because of thinking that way, but I just did!!!!! Now there's no chance of that - they could try but it wouldn't happen
  24. I have had 4 bitches in the family spayed and none have had any aggression issues - still their happy, playful, loving selves!!! I think it probably just depends on the individual dog maybe??
  25. I was a bit nervous (in no way felt bad for her, just nervous about her having an op!!) when getting Lottie spayed - but I feel it was DEFINATELY for the best!!! She was a little sore/dopey the first night, but after that she was itching to get back out with the other dogs and play!!! Her personality hasn't changed ONE BIT, she's jsut as much fun, loyal, sweet, playful, cheeky etc etc etc as she was prior to be spayed (although, I think she's become ALOT more snuggly - but that might be because she's getting older??). I live in a small town where there's lots of roaming entire males, who can easily jump into our yard, so the risk just wasn't worth it - especially considering there are two other dogs in our yard!!! You also then don't have to worry about being on heat, if he gets the scent of a bitch on heat trying anyway to get to it etc... Good luck for your boy, i'm sure it'll all go smoothly for him!!!! ETA: for spelling
