Totally agree!! It's not hard to clip your dog up - and it's the LAW! Mumtoshelley - you say you have 99% control over your dog - what about the 1% that you dont - is that the % that's going to end in tragedy?? I just don't understand why you would want to put your own dog at risk . I would NEVER NEVER walk Lottie near a road without a lead on - although she's very well trained etc - if a rabbit or cat shot out and ran past, I would have no hope!!!! A little off topic - but for Brisbane people who might know the area - I was driving up Moggill Road on Sat (which is an 80km very busy road), and there was a person walking there dog off leash sooo close to the road - only a couple meters :D and the dog was a little behind the owner, so she had no idea what the dog was doing. She also had her lead around her neck - what help is it there?? I was so shocked that someone would do that!!!

I'm thinking i might get a cheeseburger for Lottie for this trial, that will get her pretty pumped up :D I was just wondering - do clubs usually let you know if/when they recieve your entry form??

That's very true!! Hopefully I won't be to nervous... we'll see though!! And it's an afternoon/night trial which is nice because Lottie doesn't agree that working during the day is fair

I live about an hour outside of Brisbane (In a small town near Gatton), and my first trial is actually in Redcliffe - which is on the northside of Bris, hehe!! But hopefully there will be someone there to video me! I'd like to see how we do, and I *might* put it up, depending on how shocking we go . My aim will definitely be to get it on video though

Hi everyone - long time lurker, 1st time poster here (I think ), so thought i'd introduce myself so I can join in on the discussions - I have a 18mth old Aussie Shepherd who i'm just about ready to trial (actually - entered my first trial in a couple weekends away ), which is a little scary, but I know she's ready - it'll be me and my nerves who let us down!!!!

These are on sale at catchoftheday - they look ok, and would maybe be nice in Lots crate (ontop of another mat maybe?) for when out training etc as she really feels the heat - has anyone here tried something like these. My next puppy with hopefully be a female - not sure why, but it's all I want really. Saying that, if the right male came along i'd definitely think about it My next puppy will also be - pet/showing/dog sports (I just choose Pet/showing as there wasn't one with all three that didn't have breeding in it ).

Lovely shots Huga!! Love the collar and lead set FAC day stands for Faculty day - so the vet science faculty. All it is is a big party to welcome the 1st years into the faculty - we go out and have a party and play games during the day (such as iron women etc), then at night the party continues... lots of fun :D

Love the beach one Nik :D Just catching up on the last few days - over the weekend we had a big vet party out on a property, so using a couple pics from then 26/03/2011 - FAC day is not complete without a deadly slide into the river At least this year there wasn't an injuries!! 27/03/2011 - you could see just how high the water would have been during the flooding - it would have been pretty amazing to see!!! 28/03/2011

I was the same, got mine the Friday - and I didn't get home till after the post closed on the friday, so I could have only posted it on monday I still did pop it in the post - doubt it would have been counted/got there in time....
