  1. I am very dissappointed in the new Australian Supreme Champion award and title name, I have received my registration papers and they are just listed as SUP CH. this could mean supplementary , super or anything. SUP is very poor when it is to appear on pedigrees for generations What are overseas people going to make of this AT least the Lilydale show Secretarys put an SUPR in the catalogue. I was also a bit dissappointed to learn that any 10 BIG not 25 point BIG can count. This has taken the glamour right off the award. Yes I am sorry for those people who live bush but city people go bush so bush people can go city. I consider that a dog has truly made it when it can take a group at a major city show. It is nice to recognize the great acheivers in any breed, group or show, but I do not think that this new title is doing that. It was a thrill to acheive mine but looking into it a little deeper I am now dissappointed. ALso there appeared to be some sort of race to obtain the first SUP ch. why, who cares, some states did not have shows it just made a a mockery of this title. I was very prooud of my award but now the glitz has gone.
  2. I was abused at ADI - Bulla by the exhibitor who had setup the day prior and also reported for not moving my car. He also left his trailer there overnight and I parked infront leaving a good space for him to get in and hook up which he did. When he, for some unknown reason, asked me to move my car when my breed was being judged and I said No I was abused and then reported. Which was deemed frivolous by the Show Manager. I never reported this exhibtior for setting up prior to show although I beleive he thinks I did. This could be the only reason for his abusive and arrogant manner. He had moved his car up on to the back of mine so I could not open my tail gate. What a stupid childish and worrying act. I was 3rd car in the gate. there were tarps and ropes down and this large gazebo up. I work 15 mins. from Bulla I could easily setup the day prior But I respect the rules. If people wish to get there at the time I do good luck to them. But do not setup the day prior. AT the Park on Saturday there were a number of spots taken at the group 7 ring. Saved also for people who could not be bothered getting up at 4.00am to travel 100 ks to the park to get a good spot. I arrived at 6.05 and it is most annoying that people think they are above the rules. Some form of poilicing must be brought in. A fine of $100.00 per spot. That would stop them. Nominate a person who is always an early arrival at shows for each group to enforce the fines on behalf of the VCA. half to club and half to VCA. I will be making a suggestion to the VCA about this. At least if an offical does the "dobbing" then I do not have to worry about repocussions. This behavior by people at shows is indeed a worry.
  3. The Headline Cream to the Top" seemed to infer that the previous winners breed and national were not the best reps of the breed or overall dogs in general. There will never be a fair system. Those dogs in nt SA WA TAS will be hard done by because they do not have the large entries or number of shows to compete at. By limiting the number of shows this will not fix the problem. It would have had no effect on the overall winners. Yes I still would have won my breed and national breed on the new system.
  4. Just wanted to say that the 2011 winners haven't been cast aside. The March Dog News is the official 'Winner's Edition' that showcases all the pointscore winners of 2011. There is a 'winners edition' every year. Whilst in theory it would be nice to have it immediately in the January edition, it would be impossible to organise in that short time seeing as the edition would have been sent to the printers before the competition even officially ended. I was more asking daydogs to clarify what the post meant than passing judgement. Dogzonline have always celebrated their winners.
  5. What shows is doing this cannot find it in the gazette
  6. I am new to forums and did not know that capitals meant I was yelling. Anyway with the headlines of "cream to the top." My dog won its National and breed and now they say that the new system will bring the cream to the top. What does that say about all the previous winners.
  7. Will you stop yelling none of us deaf. We read the type not listen.
  8. I AM MORE THAN UPSET BY THE HEADLINE IN DOGNEWS. "CREAM TO THE TOP". WELL IT APPEARS THAT THEY DO NOT CONSIDER THE PREVIOUS YEARS WINNERS WERE THE "CREAM" THE SPONSORS ARE HAPPY BUT BY THE POSTINGS ON THE FORUM THE OWNERS AND EXHIBITORS ARE NOT. ALSO 20% OF THE WINNERS WERE BITCHES A GOOD DOG WILL BEAT A GOOD BITCH AS BORN OUT IN THE RESULTS. THIS WAS ACROSS THE BOARD IN BREED AND NATIONAL WINNERS. NOW THIS 20% OF BITCHES WILL NOT BE AWARDED POINTS FOR BEATING THE MALES IF THEY GET RUBOB AGAIN CUTTING THEIR PERCENTAGES. THERE WILL NEVER BE A PERFECT SYSTEM. BUT SHOULD NOT THE TOP WINNING DOG BE AWARDED THE 1ST PRIZE. AND THE 2ND BEST ON THE DAY AT LEAST HAVE A CHANCE.
  9. Cathy won the group with James. Rubig was one if the price's smooth foxies. i think. Big 3 English Setter (Bowey) Rubig Pointer Ch Daykene heads i win Big 7 Dane Rubig Mini poodle RUBIG was the TOY POODLE Gr. Ch Garwey Scallywag
  10. Kee was Val Hughes intermediate dog. Junior dog referred to was not in cat. and beaten in class. RUBIG was Toy Poodle "Scallywags" also Aus Bred in SHow.
