There was an announcement at the Lancefield shows that the Kyneton shows had moved. I think it was to the Showgrounds. Good luck to everyone showing, we are not entered.

Here is a link about Shaping for the showring... clicker training (i found it very interesting) I have a std poodle that hates being shown because she is VERY smart and knows the difference between inside and outside the ring. Very frustrating because she was a nice bitch. Unfortunately I just titled her then retired (for the behaviour plus she decided she didn't want long show hair). Another bitch never liked the showring. So i titled her then pulled her out and did obedience and agility training which made her a different dog I'm be going with the previous advice about playing in an empty ring :D there is hope!

It is only now that i'm having a go being a show secretary that I realise how annoying all those late entries must be!

ne1 know latest details about this show? assume due to late start it will go on whatever the weather is like

I managed to get Neuter class added to the Poodle National schedule March 2011 Will this be 1st Neuter class held in Vic???

Can I dob in a friend??? A few years ago I was showing a std and mini poodle at the same show and my friend offered to run my std around to pick up his BOB ribbon as he was the only 1 in, so I had the time to grab the mini. I handed over the lead and turned around to see my friend (very experience show person) running clockwise around the ring... LOL... when asked what the hell she was doing (in between fits of laughter), she said she thought it felt weird but assumed it was just cos it was a big dog instead of her little ones.
