  1. I agree, she is so lovely and a great personality too!
  2. I'll answer for her, yes she's going! Me too Now, which dog to take? Which deserves it more :D Maybe you can have an elimination training session, the one with the worst heeling needs the clinic more :D Why dont you come Amy? It's full now, and I have a 30th birthday party on Saturday night so may not be healthy at 10am on Sunday Oh i see!!! Lol ;)
  3. Poor boy, fingers crossed for you, Mason has spasms when he put his back out the one day, he would not sit at all only lie down.
  4. Bet you he will be better at it than Mason RS at least you have a choice of dogs to take, however stupid Mason is acting on the day I have to take him as he is the only one i have!! I forgot to send Valley the details of the clinic, I thought of her with Lincoln - I know she was keen to do a bit of obedience i think?
  5. lol, gorgeous pic emery Good luck with your Llamas, how exciting Alpacas are on my wish list for when I retire to my smallholding lol, that sent Louis running outside barking at the 'intruder' Good luck J - hope you have a great day today Well tomorrow we get the keys to our new rental and finally get all our belongings delivered After 3 months of living out of the 3 bags we brought over on the plane, it will be great to be surrounded by our own furniture again Luckily we have a few days when we have both houses, so we can leave the animals here and move them over to the new one once the removal men are done. I think the dogs will settle pretty quickly, we'll just need ear plugs for Indy as she'll howl for the first few days Know the feeling :D We lived out of bags too, was so frustrating!! Our male cat Socks does not let us sleep the first week that we move anyway, he has to give long speeches most of the night!
  6. I am doing Gina's seminar - looking forward to it
  7. Thanks so much ozjen! I found a couple of books on the topic that look interesting so might get some reading in before the puppy gets here. Tracking really is great - my lab was a bit useless at it but with more effort on my part he could have done better, he has also settled down a bit from his wild puppy days so maybe will give it a go next year or so.
  8. I cant find the lab results, they dont seem to be up on that site yet??
  9. Raw meat - cooked veggies ( dog wont eat them raw)
  10. Nope ours are between 5-5h30, think they do it so that people who work are usually home to receive parcels.
  11. Are you home to receive them? Most parcels are delivered to your door but you'll find that when you're not home, you have to go and collect from the post office if it's too large to leave. They should just chuck it over the back gate for the dogs, it's for them anyway Yip they deliver after 5, so we are always here to get them I was bad and ordered 2 things off Dstore!! Bad Ptolomy ;) I can't wait to pick him up Mas!! And yes, VERY bad Ptolomy I ordered a couple of things as well :p .... and I just got back from City Farmers ..... with another armload of stuff. Where does it end?! My post office courier guy always comes before 1pm, usually fairly early in the morning in fact ..... I am always picking up parcels from the post office .... they know me by name now I bet you cant wait, at this stage ( before I collected Mason ) I had insomnia from excitement!! My OH also fell in love with him the day we brought him home, I had picked him the weekend before and OH had not met him until we collected him. That week dragged so slowly when I knew which one he was etc!!
  12. It should be ok at the vets, they do sterilize a lot etc. My dog is always at the vet and touch wood he has never caught anything serious like parvo or kennel cough etc.
  13. I buy pet lamb mince at A & D Pet foods in Midland, along with bones and all our other stuff.
  14. Are you home to receive them? Most parcels are delivered to your door but you'll find that when you're not home, you have to go and collect from the post office if it's too large to leave. 15. GR - I cant wait to meet the pup next week I will have to check out D store, I am lucky, my post office brings my parcels to my door
  16. I buy from a Pet Food store, they only sell fresh meat - they butcher the roo on the premises so its very fresh and nothing is added. I am happy with it - it smells exactly the same as human grade roo, some of the other 'pet' meat I have bought smells awful but this place is good. I pay $3,30 a Kg.
  17. My dog has been really itchy around his back end - legs, tail and groin area. We know he has atopic dermatitis as he has had tests etc but he has never been this itchy before. My derm also thinks that he could have been bitten by a flea but this has been going on for nearly 4 weeks now and comfortis and Permoxin spray are not helping, neither are the anti-histamines. He is on a low dose of Prednisolone now, just 5mg a day as he also drinks buckets of water if we even go up to 10mg and he is nearly 35Kg's..... If your dog continues to battle I would go see a dermatologist, they are very good and have helped my dog heaps. BTW I tried all the natural stuff as I much prefer it over conventional medicines etc but nothing I did brought my dog any relief and I cant bear to watch the poor thing suffer.
  18. Yes, I was a bit worried about that but I just hate to see the poor little fella scratching and licking and turning his feet and bottom red. I thought the VAN and roo might effect a miracle cure. I thought I would feed a little at a time and see how he went. I think I might be trying to sort out the problem too quickly. He has had reasonable poos on the chicken and rice and only small amounts but the itching and licking seemed to get worse. VAN made my allergic dog worse, there's so many ingrediants in it that allergic dogs don't do well on to start with but I tried it. Are you also using the Powder Skin Support? When I let Van know after 8 weeks it was worse they said they were going to send me a diet sheet which I could make home made stuff myself for those really tricky dogs that don't respond to VAN - I mean WTF! Anyway, they also said that the product has loads of testimonals....I informed them so did the 101 other miracle cures I have tried, didn't hear from them after that. I reccomend heading to your Vet and getting a Derm referral. It also seems to make my allergy dog worse. He is way better on roo meat though, he used to have an upset tummy a lot on kibble but roo does not affect him at all. Roo and lamb are the proteins that he gets at the moment
  19. Yes had Banjo (Kelpie) as well as out two Lappies Boots and Asha and got BOB in both You should have said hello Although I seriously barely had a chance to stop most of the day! I think I managed to eat half my lunch I don't mind the Royal as it is a great way to promote our breeds but they both get so much interest it doesn't leave a lot of time to relax. Numbers were down a lot this year - lots of empty benches. But then except for the chance to promote purebred dogs to the public there is no real benefit to going to the Royal anymore. BOB prize was a Perth Royal Show cap... the main sponsor did not provide anything except for BIG and rBIG. We aren't good enough for Advance anymore in WA so no more of their brilliant prizes ;) And we were there from 7.15am and got into our car around 6pm! But saying that I will still go as the benefit of that many of the general public in attendence outways the negatives And yes you get people who pat without asking but most who did that for my dogs often did so as someone was already patting, plus I wouldn't have them where they could be reached if my dogs would have worried about it. A large number of people (in particular children) asked before patting and I tried to thank those who did A lot waited to be asked if they wanted a pat as well And I didn't have one person complain about receiving Kelpie Kisses on their face I would have loved to have come and found you to meet the dogs but I was getting a bit 'over' the crowds, too many people in one place is not my cup of tea, start to feel claustrophobic after awhile and the train ride there and back was another story. There were some people on the way back on the train abusing solvents - they were not even right next to us, maybe 5m away and I could not breathe properly because the smell was so strong , instant headache and heart palpitations - and people do that for fun??? Makes me mad
  20. Great work from Ptolomy's and Bedazzled's kids, I did not get to see Cider unfortunatly as we had left by then. I think your girls were not bad today, Royal is very distracting, doubt I would have been able to even keep my boy in the ring - he would have gone to greet the alpacas's ;)
  21. That sounds exactly like something Mason would do, if there is water and he is offlead he WILL swim, he bolts towards water like mad!
  22. No Open dogs were entered in GSD... I think rDCC was from State Bred - Jentol Ravers Raznarukus. And you are right with the BIG Mirawee were you showing today? I think I saw you
  23. Well done Ptolomy, Bedazzled, Brookie, Beans, Scoota and the new star Cider
  24. Ok I am waiting on the end of my seat now..... did something happen after I left Amypie??
