Wow what a scary experience, and good that you let him play right after the attack so that he is not scared at that park. We have had a nasty incident with a GSD that was offlead at the local park ( the owner walks him around the whole neighbourhood offlead) lucky the dog had a muzzle on or my dog would have been more hurt.

One question about chocolates while we are discussing them, are they meant to have pink rims around their eyes and pink on the inside of lips??
-
You can use whatever word you like. I use 'lets go" I need to start working on he right hand side heel as well if we are going to ever do agility, will probably only be next year but might as well train him to heel both sides while we are at it. His heeling has come along so much in the last 3 weeks I am very happy.

Our crate arrived today, we have started doing a but of crate training this afternoon and Mason was very good and patient, and he seems to like the crate which helps a lot

I got some and Mason loves them! They are also getting some Sea ROlls in soon so I i will go back and get some then!

The practicing side of things is where my problem comes in, I do tracking on a saturday, obedience on a sunday and if I wanted we could do agility on a wednesday. Now when would i have the time to practice?? I try do a bit if obedience each weekday, havent done any tracking practice this week as OH is on nightshift and I work in the mornings!! Not enough hours in the day! Welcome to my world, Candice! ;) This is why most nights after work, I don't sit down and eat dinner til well after 9pm because I'm out training I agree, definitely not enough hours in the day! But you know what, if there were more hours, they would just set our working hours up more! Still wouldn't mean more time for personal activities Probably true!!! I think I will leave the agility for next year but then again it would be fun to give it a go..... not sure what to do.

I know that loads of vets offer puppy classes for socialisation and they can go before they are finished their vacs

Look up some lab breeders here on the DOL forum, I am afraid I would also shy away from people who only breed one colour or have I got the wrong end of the stick here? Most breeders do have chocolate pups available from time to time, to me temperament and health is more NB than colour!

No worries I thought that might be the case :p Bummer though that they would have to wait a whole term

Wish I had a small dog, my freezer is not big enough!! I agree with the part about resisting the urge to smell the liver juice
-
You could also try giving him a probiotic, i found that helped my dog.

I'd try ringing because they don't always get back to you when you email. My class starts at 7.30 but I might get there earlier to watch the UD class. I'll bring the dvds on Thursday . I live in the City Of Swan but have no idea on the dog license question as I only have the one...I am guessing though that if its a 6 acre place they shouldnt have a hassle with it??

We went down - but spoke to a lady there who said we should wait till next term cause Harley will have to miss the first two weeks... so maybe next term :-( Maybe ask if u can enrol and go watch without your dog, work with him at home for the 2 weeks and then start taking him to class??? Dont know if they will allow this but its worth a go. I am trying to think where your next nearest club is, maybe Rubystar will know? That is her closest The next closest club because they cant start this term....
-
Maybe by the time I'm ready for one you'll be ready for one and we could end up with littermates Maybe I would like one the same colour as Jenna ( if I ever get one, I still also want my yellow lab too and I cant have 3 dogs lol)
-
From memory the Royal Canin GSD one is also wheat free - and of course is fine for other breeds The Ep Holistic Select range is also wheat free

That's one of the instructors isn't it? She has a red merle little girl, and she is SUCH a beauty I can't help but stare at her, she's adorable!! Oh my I want one right now!! Yes it is, she is lovely, I think she has blue eyes, does that colour always have the blue eyes and will they change or will they always be blue?? The owner is not instructing this year, she is really good I enjoyed her classes

I got an email today to say the coats were being posted today. I suggest that you hang off and wait and see what these new ones are like before decising which way to jump. Let me know what u think of them Ptolomy, I am not going to get one very soon because its nearly winter now anyway.

I think she's missing puppy breathe, will just have to get Aussie puppy breathe . Yep, we all need a new showdog (hope Jenna can read this). No pressure or anything Jenna That's ok Mason's mum Jenna's response to preasure is to go in to clown mode. Maybe why she jumped the lounge suite just before giving birth to a belly full of puppies last time. This is the girl I would have liked to have kept from her last litter. Brooklyn is the daddy. She is quiet happy where she is though and her human parents love her to bits, she gets to go to the beach and camping quiet often and ride in the new boat. She is lovely, I am slowly warming to the idea is aussie shepherds, I like them loads now after being around Jenna and there are a few at our club too. Hey, Mason's Mum do you know the owners? I have a few pups that went north of the river, maybe one is Jenna/Brooklyn ofspring. They would be black tri's I know the one lady a little but she only has a pup and its the lighter coloured one?? Not sure what its called I dont know much about them. I must say I like the black tri's best. Edited to say that I will keep my eyes open and if i see tri coloured aussies i will ask owners where they got the dog from, they may only come to agility in which case I wouldnt see them as we dont go.
