  2. Not any more! Been to the river, worn the fetch junkie out and am now home, had a shower, aircon on, getting ready to meet friends for brunch ..... I have to go brave Midland Gate at 13h00 to collect my new phone.... my pup is struggling in the heat - all he wants to do is lay in his pool :D Goodluck! Midland Gate was hetic yesterday!!! 4. In my lunch break at work Annie you may want the check out Westminster is ny 3am brain serves me correctly it's in Madison Square Garden in New York. Or the Eukanuba World Show which is on the west coast.
  5. Pretty Yep No idea the real answer (sorry I failed you ST )
  6. Thats correct Toller MAY have golden in them (unproven) and Chessies MAY have Curly in them (unproven). As PF has pointed out Goldens and Flat Coats are closely related... They started of as a colour variation and grew apart. Chessies are from Newfs and Labs are from St Johns Water Dogs which were from newfs, but they have not believed to have interbred... although there are some rumors that people may or may not have used Chessies with Labs after world war II hence choc labs. Chessies have been breeding true and AKC registered since 1901. Apparently Curly Coated retrievers had a part in most these breeds but the orgin of the Curly Coat is mysterious and ancient ETA everyone had a bit there so FHRP, PF and ST you sort it out
  7. You just missed the HPR one! Can you answer this; Which two retriever breeds are unrelated and which three breeds were orginially developed as different types of the same strain? BTW yes Labs are the youngest devlopment wise
  8. I have a raccoon tail on a rope and my Manchester goes nuts for it (so does the Tentie but only at home) it runs along the ground and you can flick it and move it like a real animal, even I get the urge to chase it ;) I also have a real bunny fur that I bought from DOL that they love but it's not as good because it doesn't move like a real animal. It's one of these http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...Product_ID=1969 But I got it from a shop in Australia - can't remember the name sorry. Terrier whisperer!!! You can't help it
  9. Tollers were the last to get offical recognition but not the youngest, Chessies are actually the third oldest Flatties predate Goldens don't they?? Yes they do, they are a common ancestor for Goldens and Labs.
  10. Tollers were the last to get offical recognition but not the youngest, Chessies are actually the third oldest
  11. Close PF. Curlies are the oldest retrievers. Goldens are not the youngest breed
  12. Thats the correct answer for the first question. Now anyone know which of these is the oldest and which is the newest?
  13. for you too ST and Charlie! It will just be extra fun ;)
  14. Oh gosh No googles!!! Name all the ANKC retrievers? Which is the oldest retriever breed? (Of ANKC breeds that have the word retriever in the name) Which is the newest (in terms of devlopment)? Which two retriever breeds are unrelated and which three breeds were orginially developed as different types of the same strain?
  15. Pudlelpointer ETA also Korthalls Griffon/Wirehaired Pointing Griffion
  16. Sorry to hear of the move, but im sure it wouldnt be an easy decision... Does this mean Char is going to go for his AM Ch title too? Jersey is in the states right?? If its not - now you all know why I failed Geography And my first thought was the Island of Jersey!!!! It is the island of Jersey in between the UK and France
  17. Good going guys! I will post pics of the markings when I get home, but it has to do with the ratio of white/blackorbrown
  18. I am really trying hard not to google but ............. Ok here goes. Yarrowfell was right and I cheated Technically these terms belong to three ANKC breeds. GSP is one, when someone guesses the other two I can post pictures of the markings
  19. Not poodles or schanuzers... poodlefan is all knowing so should be able to get it. If not I will post the answer (maybe even with pictures) And Sheridan-- super cool! I wonder if people were intimdated into awarding him really high.
  20. You're speaking jibberish Poodlefan come back and save me from looking like a raving lunatic! That is so badass.... stopping to show his dog
  21. Which breed ANKC breed is born plated and eventually grows into schwarzschimmel, hellschimmel or dunkelschimmel markings? And super awesome extra bonus points if you can define schwarzchimmel, hellschimmel and dunkelschimmel without google!
  22. Aren't Dalmatians solid white and the spots come in later? I think its cheating to google these things so I answer from my own knowledge only. Also English Setter are born solid white and Belton markings come in later (I believe)
  23. Didn't George Bush have a springer spaniel? No idea on names though
  24. Where is Amypie the terrier whisperer? She may have some advice, she trains a Tentie and a Manchester.
  25. Did anyone else watch this when it was on TV/remember this? I was just going through some DVDs and came across it.
