Well I went ahead and entered states, glad to give my money and entry also more than happy to withdraw if he isn't ready. However on Thursday we had such a good heeling session down at K9, the duration, focus and position were great and there were dogs doing agility nearby, States is 6 weeks away so I thought why not? I just have to say stands and me don't get along at all! I think we are finally starting to get them... I will be starting the steady feet game soon (from a sit) and working from there.

Yes, sometimes I look around at uni and think OMG these babies can't be students!!! In my defence though this girl was not much taller then the stafford she was handling ;)
-
A girl who looked about 6 handled at Agility Nationals!
-
Ah it's ok I just realised I can't print from the Mac...

My dogs don't wear collars at home, my aunts dog had her collar caught on a fence, she panicked and choked herself. A dead dog is not nice to come home to.

I have only used Entry form Australia for show entries and my agility entries say ANKC at the top too
-
So it doesn't have the CAWA info on it? How different the form is otherwise? Dunno I have never used a CAWA form...
-
White out is your friend ;) Set it to SA and you get the generic ANKC form.
-
I started ET training with Toby, we were going well got up to about 8kms (maybe a bit more) but he started going lame It wasn't the distance but being run from the bike on hard ground. So on Deb's advice I stopped. When Zora is old enough we will do ET

Not my choice for an agility dog (sorry Mas and RS!). If your friend likes Kelpies I am sure she can find one suitable from the 100's in rescue.
-
A good Kelpie will have an off switch - I know Toby isn't pure but a lot of Kelpie people find the same, they are happy to run all day of you are and sleep all day of you are. ;)
-
The right Kelpie or BC might suits and there are 100's of them in rescue. On the DOL rescue pages there is a 10mth Kelpie that sounds like it might be suitable.

Ah ok, not a big deal, just curious. We have a couple of PC's in the house still so will just use one of those!
-
Could be the browser you are using. I find that some sites do not work with Safari so I use Firefox most of the time now. It's software in an .exe file.
-
I used to use Entry Form Australia to do my entries but it does not seem to work on Mac. As a newb Mac user can others let me know if there is an alternative or will I just need to use the old windows desktop .

I have been going to Carolyn's Train a Pup Time joelle. Little miss is a social butterfly but it's a good way to meet vaccinated puppies in a controlled environment - socialisation before they are allowed out.
-
Mas we will wait and see about breeding after health tests. She is a promising little bitch and her breeder is willing to mentor me through it, or have her back for a litter. Puppy school has been pretty good! I have only made it to two so far though... last one is on Sat.

I bet $100 my little bitchy will come in when I am in America Poor parents

How Do You Deal With How Other Ppl "discipline" Your Dogs?

Maybe the kids should play at the neighbours for a few weeks ;) -
How Do You Deal With How Other Ppl "discipline" Your Dogs?

Looks like you have two choices; 1.Remove the dad and kid from the house so puppy cant jump on them. 2.When the dad and kid come over remove the puppy from where they are (or put it on a leash) so the puppy can't jump on them. -
RS the Gundog Club show is on Saturday ;)
