Zac looks awesome Bedazzled, maybe he and Strauss can pass on some pointers to Zora (and Toby ) And Pippa is just too cute RS! Well Zora will fetch a wooden spoon - thats like halfway to seekback right? Had a good session yesterday with Toby where he seemed to be getting stands, lets see if we can do that two days in a row!
-
Hmm whereabout is the agility RS? I will see you Monday (unless work calls me in )

Awwww look at her work Have you done anything with the bird wings I wonder how much the photogenic aspect of a dog will affect my next dog decision He's a handsome boy RV My dad helped me out with the wing (I went out while he was chopping wood) I have been doing a tiny bit of work with it but since she is loosing teeth like nothing else, so when she looses the next couple thats the front done and we can start playing fetch again! Also Brittany's are very photogenic ;)

I have to admit I prefer darker colours usually but in the Britts and the English Setters I like the orange and white. I REALLY would love a roan or really freckly Britt though, look at this handsome man with his ticked face

You can't cure allergies. I know of several people who used the allergy testing and desensitisation (or whatever it's called ) and it helped their dogs immensely - a couple are on DOL so will tell you themselves. My dog has minor allergies but through a process of elimination we worked out that it is grass (that being in summer when the grass is dead no allergies in winter when it is very grassy he is itchy). We have found that if he is a bit itchy feeding him certain foods enhances the flare up but he can have these foods over the summer with no issue.

Zora a couple of weeks ago (before she started shedding teeth She has lost 5 this week I swear!) fetching a Dokken - I think she would even try your massive duck RS!

As long as it's not hot 11am should be fine. Plus I can always set my cabana up for some extra shade. BTW mum claimed the jacket for the Brittany boy she will one day own. ;) ETA - ST both babies look great! You can see why they are taking out baby puppy every show Can you train Zora to stack so nicely please

What will the temp be?
-
No problem. What time is good for everyone else?
-
Yay! Is it JT? Or another one?
-
I am 99% sure Toby would think I was shaping licking walls and start offering that
-
Yes somewhere (I think my brother has them now) there are cushion covers that match Zora's jacket ;) Lucky ST gave me enough satin for two tries
-
Yes I can try fancy things but I can't get the size right ...
-
Yes they definitely need something to smooth their coats down for the show ring. ;) It needs to be pressed too, you can see that at the back
-
Yes might book in to see the Guru, I am sure she will whip me into shape for CCD I am just a bit scared that I am going to be told off for doing everything wrong...
-
Hmm MG not sure... Maybe if friendly adults want to come we can put up a puppy pen if it gets too much for the littlies or big ones can go on leash. Will try and take a pic... It's not finished, still needs some velcro.
-
Hmm improptu DOL meet at mine How does around 10am sound? I do coffee and tea (badly ) but I have a feeling cold drinks will go down better ;) Feeling very dissapointed, after seeing all the creative WA DOLers work I tried making Zora a silk lined coat, it looks good but it's a little bit snug, she will outgrow it in a week

If Toby has any issue with the examination it will be more likely that he is scared of the person touching him. The issue I am having is getting the stand command, he seems to think we are playing hand touches if I lure it and when I tried to teach him using kick back stands he had a melt down (he is a bit sensitive about personal space . I have also tried pure shaping but he does not understand what I am clicking him for and starts thinking it is really obscure things... He undertands steady feet and is pretty good that if I tell him to stay when he is standing he won't move a foot.... it's just getting that stand on cue!

Thanks guys Just filling an out an obedience entry for October, being optimistic and hoping Toby has SFE by then
-
Yep. And sinceI can't go to the states I can catch up on all the gossip
-
I can do the 25th or the 1st. It should be fine to bring Rosie and come along RosieFT. Zora has only ever met a crazy Manchester, so does not know many terriers
-
MG, ST and RS I have a big yard and I am halfway ;) Plus I have a puppy too (and can arrange for my older boy to go visit his cousin Ellie the Stafford for the day).

Ok here is Zora at (around) 16 weeks Both dogs went so well at training tonight! Toby was working with so much concentration and so happily.

I got a camera for agility nationals... don't think one round was filmed Will do Zora's vid a bit later (need to film it first). I am a bit disappointed that my new schedule at works means I am going to miss quite a few training nights, but have most weekends in October free
