  1. Krislin I used to have an Olympus e30 that is now loved by my brother. Thanks for the compliment CC! It's scary how much she shot up when I was away - about 5cm!!!
  2. One of my parcels arrived today - one more to come! Will let people who ordered goods via me if there items are there once I get home and open the parcel.
  3. Police will come out and do a welfare check on wandering children. Police will not do nothing of you call them and let them know there are naked young children in the street. The Police brining the kids home a few times might be the kick up the butt the mum ( or DCP) needs!
  4. Urgh poor Varda!!! Zora had one in the skin between her toes that I caught within pretty quickly (not there before work, was there when I got home) and my dog how deep that went in in that space of time!
  5. Looking forward to the upcoming season to hear how well Em does TSD!!!
  6. Sorry to hear about everyone's dogs that are unwell. RnR and Weasels both your dogs are stunning!
  7. Hmmm I might just elaborate on these a bit more; Toby -Work towards better heeling, building motivation and keeping focus without rewards. -Get rock solid stays and stands. -Would love to get a pass in CCD and maybe even title? -If Rally comes in get his RN title would be nice. -Keep playing with agility in the back yard since he is enjoying it, finish teaching him to weave! -Most importantly build enough reinforcement history and motivation on Toby that I can turn a "shut down" moment around and work through it. Zora -Finish Zora's conformation title, work on those free stacks and teach her to gait properly - not prancy heel work in the show ring. -Keep working on our obedience, heeling duration, positions, finishes. I would like to be able to enter her in Rally towards the end of the year hopefully RN title. -Teach Zora a formal retrieve, 'woah' and work on her in the field. Compete in a Field trial only if numbers are needed, if not just spend this season getting her ready and confidant for next year. -Keep training in agility and working on my homework from class! Me -Handle Spartan to his RN title ;) -Use better record keeping methods of my training. -Increase my fitness. -Keep learning and enjoying myself.
  8. Same with Zora Wuffles, she came over with two toys in her crate and she still has them, one Toby got too while he was in a destructive mood but the other is intact and lies around the house.
  9. Also Zora caught a rabbit today She has been stalking and pointing at this rabbit on out property for the last few days and today when mum was out hanging the washing she saw this rabbit take off with Zora in pursuit who caught up and held the rabbit down until mum arrived mum said the rabbit was a bit slobbery but hopped away just fine once mum grabbed Zora and lifted her off the rabbit. But naught Zora - she should only be pointing rabbits not chasing them
  10. They had a Lab x Poodle and are planning on getting another.
  11. I didn't get the brown trout kelpie one last year- the pictures just were not that amazing, and I don't think all the kelpies were.... kelpies lol. I am hoping that I can stop being lazy and do my own calendar this year!! That Browntrout Kelpie calendar looks like 3 or 4 of the pictures are of the same dog ;) I will be doing my own calendar (and diary) with pictures taken myself I think.
  12. Thanks for the support everyone have told everyone my dog isn't too thin The trouble was instigated by one of my parents friends staying from SA who kept going on how 'unhealthy' Toby looked since you can see ribs, how cruel I am for trimming Zora's ears and feet and how I can cure Toby's anxiety problems by watching Cesar Milan ;) But then my mum jumped on the bandwagon so I needed lots of support to help her realise he isn't too skinny and stop her feeding him on the down low.
  13. Every one is ganging up on me that Toby is too skinny I think he looks athletic! Opinions;
  14. Hope everyone had a good Christmas! The dogs new fav is one that's not from Clean Run but that I brought from Pet Co. while I was in the states. Just so you can all sticky beak and someone can tell me where I can buy more from : http://www.kyjen.com/shop/index.php/dog-toys/invincibles.html
  15. I think your only answer will be to go and meet both breeds and make your own judgement. ;) Lots of info in the Brittany thread too. Of all the Britt's I have met I have only found the usual male/female differences - boys can be a bit sookier, girls are wily, boys are bigger and boofier and the girls more petite.
  16. Merry Christmas everyone! Only 8 mins to go till I finish work!!!
  17. When I used to run Toby rear cross was the only cross we could do - we have always been useless at front crosses.
  18. Yes but I had a little smirk when I saw how close the recall was But the signal exercise was amazing!
  19. I am starting the course Jan 1 - because I was away overseas and have never done crate games I had a lot of catching up! Luckily I signed up for the level that allows me access until May so I have plenty of time to use all the info.
  20. AKC Obedience Invitational was held recently - the top 8 places went to Golden Retrievers, then a Mal, then a Golden to round out the top 10. A Brittany came 18th Here is a Youtube clip of the winning dog for anyone interested - it's not the actual clip at the Invitational though. It's pretty impressive though (This dog has 54x perfect 200 scores! )
  21. My Brittany had a growth spurt so it's the 500 class for us and not with you in boosting 400 numbers AP. RS I love watching Brittany Youtube clips! It's (usually ) very inspirational! My fav is Whiskey, here she is at the Agility Invatational -
  22. Yep she is now 7 months old and all grown up (physically ).
  23. Thanks for the awesome comments everyone! Had an awesome holiday and got some stunning pics with my new kit. I had a play with it this afternoon at getting some action shots and it works well for those too :D
