  1. I'm jealous! Are they an imported pet or are they going to work for breed recognition. He said he was an import, he was his pet in the US and when he moved here for business he brought him along. His vet here refuses to believe it isn't a rotty x golden OMG, I just googled them- what beautiful dogs. Just googled them too. OMG they are beautiful I can see why the vet thinks they might be rotty x golden - pics on google showed them with the looks of a golden but colours of rotty They are beatiful dogs but no one seems to want to get them started here.
  2. Lincoln is in Victoria at the moment if you want the most handsome Chessie in the world.
  3. He only had eyes for his mum!! Didn't stop him wanting to give me kisses Where were my tips on Tuesday RS? Or were me and Toby just so hopeless you didn't even know where to start. :p Does this mean Banjo will be in some agility trials coming up Mirawee?

  5. Sounds like the OP should get a lab for a pet.
  6. Question for Angelsun if you are around. Can you clarify after halt back 1-2-3 steps sign does it matter if you use a right finish or left finish before you move forward again. Also can you please re-explain a moving down.
  7. Thanks J, unfortunately this is 'normal' behaviour for him thanks for another recommendation too and don't tempt me with puppies, that's very bad Anyway I'm up to my 2 dog limit for Perth Its ok you can get three just apply! ( I know someone who has written up that many three dogs apps and never failed!! lol) Your kids look so healthy and happy! Would your friend get it through City of Gosnells? YEP I get them all through all over have 100% sucess so far! There is always appeals to Minister if all else fails!! Shire of Capel?
  8. She hasn't had a GA for 4 years so i don't know if they ran any of those tests. the vets we normally see at the clinic are good but because it was after hours it was a vet we don't often get. She is looking quite bright and chirpy, just a bit lame and hating us for making her wear a headcollar. Thanks for all the well wishes, it's so scary having an old dog.
  9. Lilly was at the vet last night. :D She has a cyst between two toes and is on antibiotics this week and wearing a bucket (which she despises, I swear she invented the evil eye) Last time she had a cyst on her back the antibiotics cleared it up and it was fine the time before that with one under her chin she had surgery and crashed under the general anastetic. The vet said to my dad the first option is to operate, my dad was like "Look at her, shes 14, she has crashed under GA before" the vet says "Well there is a 50/50 chance she won't make it then but it's the most effective option" GET REAL VET! Who the hell recoomends surgery as a first option on an old dog! He clearly has not read her case file and who would take a 50/50 gamble with thier dogs life rather then use treatment that has worked succsesfully before. Sorry guys end of rant. I had fun at training last night but the drive to Southern River will be so much batter when I have a car stero.
  10. I'm about 170cm and he's 33.5 inches to the shoulder so is infact a small Dane. :D You always forget how big Danes are till you see one.
  11. Sas I can't believe how big he is. Are you normal sized or short cause he just looks HUGE! I did some Rally training with ST tonight. Toby is slowly improving. But I have a serious question. In obidience when a dog drops are they allowed to have thier front feet past you? Also why goes my dog sit down in about turns. (I know the answer to this one is me!)
  12. When I rushed Lincoln to Murdoch emergency I forgot a lead. But he was way to sick to do anything naughty anyway.
  13. Thanks Rommi n Lewis, I'll look her up I'm in Mount Lawley at the moment but am happy to travel for a good recommendation Perth Dog Training Club has classes in Vic Park on Tuesday evenings. ;) Isn't it Wednesdays Probably.

  15. Unless you are having REAL problems and not training problems you may find its better to go to training classes instead of the behaviourist which will cost around $400. If you remind us which suburb you are in we can recommend a training school nearby. ETA Just read the other thread and it sounds like a behaviorist might be the go. I thought you meant he was pulling on the leash or something.
  16. I haven't seen the large musterlander make sure to point it out next time! I have met one of the Xolos at agility nationals. Are LH Weis a rare breed? Cause I saw one Sunday and see them sometimes at shows.
  17. Hey K9 pro, while your around, I was looking at your training in drive courses and was thinking that maybe you tell me if it would help with him, on my YouTube channel are vids of him at trials, you can see the difference in attitude/speed.
  18. I own a rare breed and if someone knows what it is I feel like I want to hug them. Even ANKC judges have gotten his breed wrong.
  19. Steve I am not sure if it's a coincidence but check the WA thread.
  20. Congratulations! That was quite an achivement for an old girl.
  21. Did you have fun in Bunbury? ;) Yes, me and Toby ran our best run since the last day of nationals, I am starting to feel the connection in the ring again and I had lunch with some rellies.
  22. This is what I thought too. Condolences about your pup though.
  23. It was the first time my parents had come to a trial so I fully expected if he left the ring it would be for them.. but nope I had my dad "record" it only after he was like 'should there have been a picture on the screen?', yep the camera wasn't turned on.
  24. No brags for me this weekend but a big congratulations to all with brags! And commiserations to all without brags.
