  1. I want to get Lincoln measured as soon as he turns 12 month because he probably still has some growing to do after that! I was thinking of practining it at home as Toby has the same reaction to the measuring stick as if we were trying to brand his back! It didn't seem so bad though because we were measured after Kyzer (sorry Amypie )
  2. I have my outfits planned for the Royal, I show a dark brown dog and I am wearing grey pants, a white blouse and a red and white striped nautical jacket! I also have a matching ribbon for my hair and a matching red and white striped leash and collar for Lincoln for when we are casual (he will be on his choc paracord lead in the ring).
  3. I hate to be a pest ValleyCBR but if you have their details would you mind sending me a PM? Ive tried google but nothing is coming up The more I look into puppy-preschool the more horror stories I am starting to read - have to admit to feeling a bit frightened of my little one getting trampled or worse! On a completely different subject - your Lincoln is absolutely gorgeous! I am still at work so I don't have the link byt when I get home I will PM you carolyn's email. ;) Carolyn groups pups in small classes by size and is very quick to intervene if the play is a bit rough. Lincoln is handsome! And very mature he was only 7 months in that head shot.
  4. It might not be the same one then. As the one I took Lincoln to was only a puppy preschool.
  5. Agree! I try to take photos of the dogs every week Although I haven't had any of Lincoln for ages cause he looked so ugly all shaved and then went inerstate.
  6. Carolyn's classes in Southern River are the best. I don't have the link at work but I have recoomended her a few times on these forums before, maybe do a search?
  7. If she is after an agility dog either get an established dog so you can be sure of temprament (my current agility dog has anxiety issues which make him a bit of a nightmare to train) or from a breeder who has titled a dog in a dogsport that can pick a pup with correct temprament. A herding breed, utitility gundog or retriever would probably suit best. Also a if you are going down the small dog path a Corgi could be a dog to consider, not that I know much about them or a papillon.
  8. My best friend who met Lilly for the first time the same day I did is overseas at the moment and won't be coming home for quite awhile so I have made him a little clip on Youtube he can watch for some comfort and to say goodbye in case he dosn't get a chance. I thought I would share it here too in case anyone was interested in seeing a video of Lilly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEk6BkaDauk...e=youtube_gdata
  9. I spoke to mum at lunchtime and Lilly had managed to wander outside and go to the toilet and was enjoying a bone. We know we are on borrowed time and I totally agree with you Mirawee about giving them a dignified end. I am glad to hear your old boy is doing better RnL.
  10. Thanks everyone. Lilly wet herself last night and couldn't stand this morining so I think the time is fast approching. :D Sorry to make the WA thread so depressing.
  11. Back from the vets. We saw one of my faviroute vets this time and she was very thorough. She confirmed my suspicions that a lump in Lilly's mammary area is likely to be a malignant tumor due to the growth speed (less then two weeks) but we declined to have a needle aspiration since knowing won't make a difference as we can't operate on her without significant risk and we would rather have her go at home then on a table. We have been given 14 days of antinflammatories and some pain relief to give her to help with her worsening arthritis and any other pains she may be in. We will be monitoing her closely but for the time being she is continent, eating and enjoying the small things. Please keep your positive vibes coming this way.
  12. Great stuff RubyStar Rubystar should be mighty proud of herself - her kids both worked well on the weekend and she is one very neat tidy handler. Novice handlers could learn a lot from watching her take a bow Rubystar Hint taken :D
  13. Sun was up when I was feeding the ponies (6.30-7am) and there was still ice... in fact Miss Raven decided that it is the "in thing" to have ice adorning her forelock ST, yes Group 5 is definitely on the Sunday. I will be there Sunday for Group 5 judging, Monday for agility, Wednesday to show my own horse and Friday to show a friends horse . Ok we didn't have ice then because when I took Toby out to strach his legs and chase some roos at 6:50am no ice!
  14. I will be there Sunday to watch obidience and visit group 5, I will be there Monday for agility and Wednesday for Lincoln too.
  15. We may have had ice Mirawee but nobody here ventures outside until after the sun is up!
  16. We can do a swapsies - Cider pats for Ari pats and looking at teeth When I get Lincoln back we can have a mini gundog show! Sorry to hear about the miss WZ. Do Xolos only cycle once per year? I am not puppy clucky, I just want my puppy back.
  17. RS and Ptolomy I won't be at training tonight as we are taking Lilly to the vet (again ) cause she is having trouble getting around.
  18. In the first pic Kyzer is just about to do a jump and in the second he is racing between jumps on the agility course.
  19. Trixie and Strauss: And this one cause it looks like Trixie is slapping Strauss!
  20. SOOOOOOO many were orange blurs. Plus there were a few not of Strauss. :D
  21. Something that has made his muzzle thicker then your average Kelpie and his coat shorter, I would hazard a guess at a 'staffy' but he is really a bush dog so could be anything and probably has no pedigree dogs anywhere in his 16 generation pedigree. I love him but he inherited allergies and some temprament issues. ;) He is so feral sometimes, this is what greets me when I get home from work. ;)
