  1. Not that I really compete much but I think dogs love training, going out, thinking, getting to be social. I think the competitions are a motivation for us to keep training which our dogs love and which builds our bonds. My dog loves the jackpots he gets at competitons and getting out for the day playing with other dogs meeting new people ect. If he is in the right mood he also loves doing agility equipment.
  2. Yep Well it's only fair when I ask to borrow all yours that I have something to barter with.
  3. I have a copy of Dial up the Distance on the way so don't get that!
  4. No but you're starting to be the Clean Run fairy!! Did you hit the button yet? :D Not yet! Awwww , I'll never forget that day I drove you to your parent's house to pick up Ruby and take her to the Nationals to hang out, and your Dad kept saying "What about Millie?? Why can't Millie go too?? What's wrong with Millie??" So funny. What are you getting from Clean run Amypie? ;)
  5. Yeah but it's a shame that she didn't win one. Since the trial was rosettes by donation only amypie (and now me ) feel like donating one. My dad would have TOTALLY lost it had they handed us a trophy/rosette that day. It was the first time he'd really seen her in the ring and first time seeing presentations, he was proud as punch and close to tears! He would have totally lost it if she won something Awww your dad sounds so sweet! You need it for him.
  6. Yeah but it's a shame that she didn't win one. Since the trial was rosettes by donation only amypie (and now me ) feel like donating one.
  7. I was just joking no one wants a rosette of shame Before Sunday let me know how much Millie's rosette will cost I am happy to help out
  8. Amypie you doing Midland on Sunday? I just know this week will be Toby's title for Master Non Qualifier Can he get a rosette?
  9. Yes it would look good, purple and chocolate, mmmmmmmmmmmm Cadbury..........
  10. Hey ST at the end of October is the All Breeds Show that a year ago I came to and met you guys and James (). Can you believe that it was so close to a year ago!
  11. Thats good. I can be very loud but can't look tall I am happy to help bedazzled if you need me.
  12. No but I did hear they might not be having Obedience Yes apparently it is because there is no one to organise it? It would be a real shame to lose it, and I'm not even an obedience person (yet ), but the Western Classic is one of those great shows where people can go down and see showing, obedience, and agility all in the one weekend. Whats that your volunteering too ?!? You should since you can spell it
  13. YES If it's cause they are short on people (and i can't belive I am saying this) even though I have never been involved in organizing a trial and don't know too much about obidience I am happy to help. I would like to think in a few years I can have Lincoln in the Western Classic for showing, obidience and agility.
  14. Also did anyone else hear they might not be having obidience at the Western Classic!
  15. Sorry I forgot to gat back to you Chi4me I have had some stuff to deal with at home. here is the link to a puppy school I highly recommend: http://trainapuptime.com/
  16. If it was something little and not something huge that the person would need a behaviourist for I would try to give non preachy advice and maybe direct them to dogstardaily or a local training club.
  17. Very informative! Your making me want to upgrade my body to a E-620! Definetly saving this for future refrence.
  18. Cool, found it - if you meant Warton and Randford that is :D Yep iPhones aren't great for typing
  19. Ok thanks VCBR, can the general public come along and watch or do you need to be a member? Also where is it exactly? ;) The general public is welcome. It's at the corner if WRton and Randord rd
  20. Thanks GR, looks like we're getting this house in Cottesloe and the dog beach is less than 10mins walk away as is the agility park if it exists still Louis isn't ready for the dog beach yet but we don't move there till October, so hopefully we'll be able to go there at quiet times if he's made enough progress by then ;) LOL took me a while to works this one out I even went to page two of this thread to see if there was anything that made sense :D Glad the pan killers are giving Lilly some relief, hope the family meeting goes ok - such a heartbreaking, but selfless decision What show is this and where? Could I come and see Xolos in the flesh :D All shows are at the canine Grounds in Southern River, on Saturday there are DOLers showing and on Sunday DOLers in agility and xolos.
  21. Hugs to you and your family even though you know you are making the right decision - it is never easy Let me know if you would rather not trot around with Soggy. I definetly would love to trot around with Soggy. Being home all weekend at the moment is the last thing I need. And being out at a dog show and getting Toller cuddles is a good way to spend my day.
  22. Anyone else showing Saturday? I will be there handling a soggybear Then agility Sunday I think? Lilly is feeling better for the pain killers but when they have run out and we have to wait a few hours for the next one she isn't coping too well but realistically we know her quality of life will detriorate again as her tumor grows/spreads. We are having a family meeting on the weekend (when my brother is around since he dosn't live at home) to discuss how we are all feeling and to talk about our options. Unless she rapidly improves we are thinking of getting a vet out to visit the house next weekend to give her her wings in our home.
