you were at canine a 3.15 and you started her inmidland at 4 you must of flew here lol or got smooth run no traffic No the other way ;) I ended up being a half hour late for work! :D Edited to add: I just realised you meant here as in Midland not Southern River like most DOlers define 'here'

Might have been Toby sneaking over to your place since he was scared of the duck.

its like a metal comb with teeth which pick up the loose, dead hair from the coat as you brush with the *what's the word rofl* same as shaving lol go with the way of the coat Ok disclaimer i am sleep deprived and brain isn't working lol or i am having a bad blonde brain fart moment. i love it to remove the dead yucky coat leaves them sleek and shiny Hmmmmmm.........I may have to think about getting one for the Kelpie!!! Sounds like the go! PD - you will have to PM me your real name and a description!! I am over introducing myself as "Lab Rat" from DOL :D .....I think I scared VCBR when I did that at the last show!!!! I will endeavour to shrink some Llama pics this arvo. ATM we are in the middle of putting up curtains YAY.... I was just generally scared that afternoon. I was due to start work in Midland at 4 and it was like 3.15 when we chatted. ;)

So Jealous!!! Amypie feel free to PM or text :D
-
Yeah totally Also about if it's now going to cost $50 a term
-
Yes I am dying to know to considering I was thinking about puppy agility next term for Lincoln
-
I had a similar expirience! Lilly is an absolute cow! She would (and still won't ) listen to a word I say even for food and my dad only has to look at her sideways and she would be pulling out the tricks! Jack my pet shop border collie was really the easiest dog in the world to train! He was so eager to please me and was very highly motivated for praise/tug/ball! I could also do something 10 or 15 times in a row (i.e ask him to weave) and he would happily do it. It's a shame he passed on way too early. ;) After Jack I was so not ready for Toby! He likes food ok I guess, he isn't really pat or tug or even toy motivated (until I discovered iSqueaks but thats mostly at home). He is a little bit neurotic and shuts down when he is stressed, which is easy to trigger. But as a pet he is so easy! He is a lounge dog and has seriously low exercise requirements. He hasn't destroyed anything since he stopped teething even if he was left home alone all day! But then Lincoln is better to train then Toby but will never be as smart and able to do things over and over as Jack. So beware RS! Your next dog mught be worse then both

And one who isn't sticking their bum in the dogs face even after demonstrating first which way to stand Yeah that helps too... I read the rules today so I feel a bit better prepared. Lets just say I am used to the show ring and your lucky I didn't check her teeth ;) Did anywhere in the rules did it say you should extend your neck out for better coverage of Lab kisses? Yeah it's in the super secret title section-- if Ruby does it 3 times in a trial she gets the title PLK (Pro Lab Kisser )

And of course it helps to have an awesome person touching the dog.

My dogs don't seem to understand the association between chewing their beds to a million pieces, and having nothing to sleep on that night Yes she does love it, but still the pee smells around bins and stuff prove too much temptation, even for Ruby as well! Need to proof dumbell in longer grass near pee posts! Ya know, just in case there is one in the ring Or you throw the dumbell backwards.

Kelpie?
-
Yay Amy!! I will gladly be the SFE person for you and RS on Thursday! Then I will get all the tips of how to teach it and Lincolns SFE will be awsome!! Not yay about the sneaker. Lincoln tends to go for stilettos and chewed up a pair that cost $120 and I had worn once.
-
Hmmm so when did the dumbells come into agility then Amypie I think SOMEONE IS SNEAKY OBIDIENCE TRAINING!!!
-
I think a big thing is lines as well. But I have to say my best friend has owned labs and goldies. The Goldies were pure show lines, really intelligent, cuddly, easy to train and well behaved. The Lab is mostly show with a bit of field he is 10 and still acts like a pup, exhuberant, was very destructive as a younger dog, clever (as in quick to learn) but not intelligent (as in falls in ditches ). Both the labs and Goldies have been great with children (friend is second oldest of 6) and great personalities.

YAY again PD888!!! I am so proud when our DOL puppies get fringes. And between Buzz and Naca we had two :D
