  1. Not me But I am going to play on my firends Pentax in a few weeks who has an awesome one!!!
  2. They are beatiful! Love the solid one... (Hmm maybe Toby has Koolie in him )
  3. Wow, that's one old dog ... Yes a 100 year old still fertile dog, its a world record :D . Seriously though thats what gets to me about these dogs. Chessies have been in development since the 1800's and have had a unified starndard since the early 1900's and some idiots who want a "non shedding labrador" think they can make a breed. Get a poodle if you want a non shedding dog, get a lab if you want a lab.
  4. Hmm I have two multigenerational mutts in my house too And one dog that has been breeding pure for over 100 years.
  5. Wondered where you got to - I needed someone to do some SFE for me!! It wasn't too cold actually. Unless you were on the receiving end of an unfortunate incident like Amy involving your jacket Well Toby is being a bit of a prat atm so I knew I was going to drive all the way down, be freezing, have my dog play up, be in a bad mood and drive all the way home . I can do SFE practice Sunday ;)
  6. It might just be depressing Rach. Or you may end up getting fired for not selling enough when you recommend people dont buy puppies.
  7. Poor Scoota But yay for Brookie. I am planning on coming to the state trial to watch so I am already saying in advance, yes I will film for you RS
  8. The comp for Open Dog Show Dog of the Year seems a good idea to encourage newb competitors and increase numbers at open shows.
  9. I really want to do Bunbury twice and Albany! I was supposed to go to training tonight but I piked out cause its too cold.
  10. When Lincoln had his first show coming up I panicked and took him down to the shops so lots of people would touch him and I was all 'he loves being scartched on his chin' so he would get used to people touching near his mouth for the judge. But I forsee heelwork at the shops in his future.
  11. I've been to Augusta once.... what the heck is there to do for a family holiday?! ;) It was like a dead end to nothing I want to do the country shows so I can hurry up and get Lincoln's title! ETA Just to mean I want to do as many shows as possible, not because I think country shows will be somehow easier.
  12. Apparently my Canine News arrived today!!!!
  13. Here is how my family did it. We had Lilly first, when Lilly was 6 I finally talked my parents into another dog and we got Jack. I felt this spacing was good as Lilly taught Jack manners and good habits and was (mostly) past her destroying things phase. Sadly when Lilly was 12 and Jack was rising 6 Jack was hit by a car. i had started talking about adding another before Jack was hit and withing 6 months we had Toby. Lilly was like a big granny to Toby in that they cuddled but obviously they didn't play the way Lilly and Jack had. When Toby was 1 and a half Lincoln came home as an opportunity I couldn't pass up! I think if Toby was a serious competition dog I would be tearing my hair out having two such young dogs but since Lincoln is going to be a competiton dog and Toby dabbles in agility for fun mostly it has worked out ok. However I realise that Toby and Lincoln will age togther and that will be really sad. I am hoping my next dog won't be until Lincoln is at a maintance level in training and both boys are settled. However sometimes things come up that you can't refuse.
  14. Do you want awesome motivavtion! Do it before it's too late. I was at a stage in Jack's training ready to start trialling in agility and I put it off. I kept meaning to go back to it but I never got a chance because he was hit by a car and died way too young. Ok that was morbid depressing motivation.
  15. I guess my rocky road is not worth your info then

  20. Lets see, I have Strauss and Soggy for showing. Lexi for Rally. And Scoota and Jenna to learn some obidience with.. did I miss anyone? I would offer my agility handling skills but they are mediocre at best and I would like to see Soggy do well.
  21. No chance Lexi will be the first one thanks to Valley CBR -oh sorry thats a Rally O title. Looking to hand off some of the others in the near future It starts as just a casual remark - oh would you like to do some heelwork with Beans and before they know it - they are signed up for life membership ;) I will gladly take one of your kids off your hands for any discipline - except DWD!!! Oh and tracking, I don't like early starts You may have just signed you and Strauss up for retrieving

I will dominate Rally with red kids! (End of evil plan)
