I'd not call a Stafford "pretty" but they have their own brand of charm and the "Stafford Smile" is hard to resist. Very true Staffords or Poodles are not my cup of tea, but gee there are some stunning dogs out there of both breeds. We are regularly beaten in Group by the stunning Poodles, they are poetry in motion, and the Staffords in my view are just charmers and beautiful. Actually I cant say I see any breed as ugly ( although I know a few people think mine is ) All dogs have something and thank godness for that and that we all like our own breeds for what they are. J I have to agree with this a little, I can think a dog from a picture is ugly but when I meet different breeds in person I usually find them adorable because of thier personality and the way thier owners dote on them. ETA Not in regards to Labd or Poodles but just generally

I mean look at this I think anyone who wants a mutt over one of these is delusional Here you go. 9/10 people ask if she is a labradoodle, the rest ask if she's an Irish Water Spaniel. Maybe only 1 or 2 people have gotten it right, but those have always been other poodle owners as a scruffy puppy shaved, and still mistaken for a doodle in-between Being asked doesn't bother me, people are polite about it and I just tell them she's a standard poodle

I have to admit I am becoming quite partial to poodles However I don't think I could own one as I like showing and hate poodles in show clip

I have to say if I had my boy in BIS lineup ( ) I think I would be too focused on my own dog to notice another dog barking! I think at the end of the day for any dog sport all you can do is prepare your dog the best you can because you can't control the outside world.

Out of everything I do for the allergies the bathing is the biggest chore, we sometimes need to bath him 2x a week!! Until we own our own place, no hydrabath for us, I dont dry Mason with a dryer as it just makes his skin even dryer than it already is! Last night the vet recommended at least once a week until his allergies settle and "foot baths" every other day spoiled boy We found out insurance dosn't cover immunotherapy and after speaking to the vet last night (who has severe allergies herself so has so much sympathy for alergic dogs ) we decided to try changing his diet and upping baths and doses of Polaramine and see if that helps.

Just bringing this up again as it seems more relevant now then a few pages back. Just like there are specially developed Lab lines surely they could specially develop poodle lines

Midland BP&G have had a hydrobath for ages I like having my own though with built in dryer Yeah I have seen it there but never really twigged I don't need a dryer though since Toby has virtually no hair

ST you just gave me insparation for making Toby's weekly allergy baths that much easier
