Really? Do you know why that is? I have only used it for cats, so on conrete, cages, etc.

F10 also kills Parvo. You can buy it online and dilute it with water. I use it on EVERYTHING and there is no bleaching/staining. So sorry for your loss.

Some people also recommend a nice, big snuggly teddy for the pup to cuddle and a heat pack (but of course you need to be careful the pup isn't going to eat it!). I'd take him out to the toilet before bed, then put him away. Before bed needs to be quiet time, just like kids.

Interesting regading the EAD, because a recent document I read found that there was no significant difference between desexing at 8 weeks vs desexing at 6 months. There were no increased risks during the surgery or as a result of the surgery.

Which ones are sold Annie?

I know you are. I'd be devastated too. Perhaps you can put some commercial duck food out for them? Although I'm pretty sure Wood Ducks eat grass, so not sure if they'd want that food. Poor babies.

Don't be too hard on the person who hit him. Ducks are very silly and I have seen so many just wander straight into oncoming traffic. I'm sure they didn't mean it.

That is so sad. RIP Daddy duck.

Sorry, I meant is he from a breeder or a pet shop? Puppies are naturally clean and normally won't mess in their beds, but pet shop puppies live in such cramped conditions that they learn to toilet anywhere - including where they sleep. So people who buy pet shop puppies often have a much harder time toilet training them. Your puppy is gorgeous and I like the idea of the fake grass.

Maybe the extra weight of carrying a pregnancy will hurt her leg more?

Could he be confused? Where is he from? I would not be encouraging him to have a place to pee inside. Outside is for toiletting. I think letting him pee indoors will just confuse him in the long run. When you take him outside, try not to bring him in until he has gone to the toilet.

Depends who you ask!! Research I have found suggests that if you get it done before they are mature, they may grow taller but there shouldn't be any more risks or complications when compared to mature desexing. So this means, there is no difference getting it done at 10 weeks, 6 months, etc. However, some people prefer to wait until they are mature (after 12-18 months depending on breed).

How To Tell If Dog Has A Temperature
Kirty replied to KismetKat's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Glad you said that Blab! I was beginning to wonder if all those times I'd taken my baby's temp under the armpit, I had been a degree off. -
I saw someone walking a Pointer in Coburg last week and it was HUGE! I didn't realise they were so tall. It was a stunning dog. Pure white except for coloured (orange) ears. The owner was chatting to someone who had obviously stopped her to ask about the dog. It looked very sweet. :D

I used to do mobile grooming and we 100% dried the dogs every time. We charged around $40 for a wash and dry (including nails, ears, etc) and $60+ for a clip. Bigger dogs and matted dogs were extra. Washes usually took 45-60 mins and a clip would take around 1.5 hrs. We would normally do 10-11 dogs in a day. I think we did a small discount for multiple dogs at the same house because obviously we didn't have the extra travel/fuel costs for the extras.

I feed Cobber Working Dog, Great Barko and Bonnie Working Dog. I just buy whatever I feel like at the time. My dogs have always done really well on these brands. They have lovely shiney coats and normal poops. They are currently on Cobber and only get one cup each per day! They are 25kg adult dogs - don't think you can get better value than that!

In Victoria, to own a purebred Dingo you need a special enclosure, however I don't think those rules apply to crosses. I could be wrong. If I were you, I'd have her microchipped as a Kelpie X. If anyone asks, she is a Kelpie X. Thats what you were told anyway.

Great result, but Bernese Mountain Dog? Really???

1. What is my relationship with the breed? (ie breeder, first time owner etc) First time owner 5. What is the general temperament/personality? Louis is a barrel of laughs. Everything he does is funny. He is cheeky, outgoing, happy, bouncy and affectionate. 6. How much daily exercise is needed for the average adult? Not much. Louis is happy with a short walk, but just as happy to laze around the house. 7. Is it a breed that a first time dog owner could easily cope with? I think so. Louis has been a dream dog really. Toilet training was a bit slow, but otherwise he has been very easy. 8. Can solo dogs of this breed easily occupy themselves for long periods? If they have lots of human company, yes. Otherwise, I'd say they'd do better with a companion. 9. How much grooming is required? Very little. He needs the folds of his skin cleaned but thats about it. Doesn't seem to shed as much as many other short haired dogs. 10. Is it too boisterous for very small children or for infirm people (unless the dog is well trained)? No. Louis lives with my small children (2yo and 5yo) and he is great with them. He does jump up but settles very quickly. A few other things... Louis is great with other dogs of all sizes. He plays with my MIL's SWF and loves to romp with my big dogs. He is fine with cats (does like to chase them though, but not in a nasty way). He is a funny little character.

How is this different to any other dog on Petlink? The idiot owners are always threatening to have the dogs PTS or send them to the pound "if they aren't gone this weekend".

Can Notorious Dog Breeds Like Pit Bulls Live Safely With Children?
Kirty replied to tybrax's topic in General Dog Discussion
How can you get a APBT from a reputable breeder when they aren't even a registered breed? -
RIP Sammy. He looked like a lovely boy.

OMG I am so sorry. What an awful thing to happen. RIP sweet Bella.
