I had a GSD that always was scratching I used to wash him in free itch rinse, someone suggested malasab and bingo within a couple of weeks washing him in that and changing food to optimum (as it is now called) only the chicken one he was fine.

Our Council hire the electric collars. we have a 99% sucess rate. But if you buy or use one make sure the battery does not go flat as when going flat they beep and zap. I actually touched one and the zap is like static electricity and causes a shock not pain. A good idea is to make sure you get a video with it and learn how to use it properley and when you take it off the dog place a u bolt about the same size as the little black box on your dogs collar and she will think the electric collar is still on. Most dogs are easily to fool like this but you do get some who know the difference. best of luck

This is Abbey (VIZSLA) 13 and a half years she did not grey until about 9 years whereas Kim the gsd is 3 and has a grey bottom lip probably from oliver stressing her.

vasoline and citronilla we use it on horses or see if you can get one of those ear tags for cattle, we tie it around the horses neck or to its mane purchased from primac. Flies also do not seem to like the bayer kiltix collar. for your fly baits vegemite and water does the trick.

It may sound strange but it is true, the dogs at the pound here usually get fed bonny. Most of our pound dogs are also reoccurring offenders.

Euk and optimum they wouldn't eat science diet and every now and again royal canine for shepherds (the cats love it) plenty of brisket bones and pig ears and lots of veges.

My puppy came with instructions that he was fed on Hills science Diet puppy, so off I went and bought the 18 kilo bag which cost me $138.50 through our local vet (only place to get it) next day I had to go and buy a bag of euk as the little turd would not eat it, neither would the big dogs. I took it to the local pound and they did not want to eat it either. The pound keeper had to mix meat and other biscuit with it. One thing though it lasted a long time. I now feed euk or optimum.

I lost Riley on the 30th June 2004 at 13 months of Cardio Myopothy Abbey on the 13th July 2004 at nearly 14 years her time had come Ike today 16th February 5years and 1 month due to complications of brain damage. I still remember the day I lost Nelson a boxer at 6 years in 1991, with cancer I have photos of my babies in rememberance no it does not get easier but a puppy helps with the healing process. And you never forget them I still remember their birthdays.

Bye Ike until we meet again you will now be at the bridge waiting with Toby, Holly, Abbey and Riley. You had a short life but a good one, it was not your fault that you got sick. 26/01/2000 to 16/02/2005 5 years young. love Mummy

Riley you have been gone from our lives for 10 weeks now even though you are here in spirit and in your urn we still miss you, your half brother is a whirlwind compared to how you were and every one mixes up your names, Kim is a lot happier since Oliver came but you can never be replaced miss you mate love from mummy.

My sympathy is with you to lose one so young is terrible as they have had a short life. But at least they are loved in that time. I miss mine so much. isaviz

Abbey was my 13y 8 month Hungarian Vizsla who went to doggy heaven on the 13th July and Riley was my 13 month old GSD who went to heaven on the 30th June our house is so lonely without them. Abbey is now with roses and Riley is on the dressing table in an urn, they are where they both spent most of their time. sadly missed
