Hi my 3 GSD's get bathed every Sunday without fail more if we are off showing and I use nothing but Fidos free itch rinse. The only 1 I had trouble with was poor deceased Riley and after washing him in malasab no more problem, but I washed him in it until he died. If I washed him in anything else the redness and itch flared up. But I only use mine, hydrobath for the 3 of them then empty and clean it out ready for next time, the only time I left it there I found it stunk. I also never have had a tick or flea on any of them, I bath my cats in it as well periodically.

Girls I thought that I was impatient a dear friend told me the boys take ages to mature just let them grow and mature. Girls apparently mature quicker. Rach and Ali de_stress

Ali we luv ya too dont stress Oliver is 16 months 65cm or thereabouts and 34 kg but he looks like crap big long and gangly with a beautiful tail of course thats why I post pics of him laying down :p and he is a fussy eater

Ruger what will it do to an ADHD dog the one in my avatar I must say thoug a week on the stuff Elka is beautiful all shiny and over stimulated all of a sudden she is humping Oliver, Kim has got fat and Oliver has put on the weight he lost and is absolutley beaming. great stuff I will try the red bag next

Oh too have 2 kilo of dog in the bed heaven try 100 kilos of German Shepherds and two adults and a cat, good in winter though

Thanks everyone I will be off to the vet on Tuesday to get Olivers xrays done so will order some then KitKat Elka comes from around Toowoomba but we are about 1800klms from there long way to go. Hopefully come Marck on another doggy holiday

I bought a bag of Advance puppy home with me from the coast for Elka and I have found that fussy Oliver loves it, I have never seen him eat his tea and breakfast so fast, so does anyone know does it come in adult formula because Kimmy is getting really fat (she loves it as well)

He is fine then Elka got the puks so she got the maxalon as well but she is her usual dizzy self and they are back to playing like two mad dogs. Strangely Kim never got the puks at all maybe because she is older. But sadly over the weekend 4 more cases of parvo at the pound. It is bad here if only every one would vaccinate.

My friend used it on her cat it stopped it from compulsive piddling on everything and generally slowed her down. She is off it at the moment but puts her back on it when she starts to get too much. She swears by the stuff.

Mine dont eat canned dog food they walk away from it. I used to buy it for a change usually it is a can of whatever but it is a waste, but they sure love the tinned cat food

I asked my lot and they said cause they can eat it and its yummy

Ah used to be a looker I have known him for the best part of 30 years and I own most of the clinic

I reckon the vet told me that so he would not have me crying on his shoulder again. After the worst year in 2004 losing 3 to different things he probably wanted me to think positive, and get me out of the clinic

Thanks noisymina That is about what I thought but fingers crossed he has just had a cup of water 1/2 hour ago and no puking.

He has not puked since getting the maxalon but he is hungry keeps looking mornfully at the fridge but he will be waiting until the morning. I got a shock when I weighed him he came in at 34 kg, before we went away he was 39 kg. Surely he could not puke away that much overnight. So does anyone know if a fully vac with c5 can actually get parvo. The vet says not,

Just been to the vet, he thinks he just has a gastro thing he is not dehydrated, temp is now normal and he gave him maxalon, he is not allowed to have any tea and only 1 cup of water every couple of hours, and if he is puking again tonight I am to go straight there. Poor Oliver is asleep now under the aircon. Elka and Kim are fine and there are no runny poos anywhere to be seen. (Elka managed to pull all the washing off the line so she is OK. Wonder if I am a panic merchant but better to be safe then sorry I suppose.

will post after we have been to the vet again, he was sick again and again this morning beginning at 3am.

While we were on holidays my son bought home a puppy from the pound, he rang the day before we came home to say the puppy was being sick and did not want to eat but was drinking. The next day we came home and the little fellow was eating and drinking a little bit and appeared happy but wormy, I went to the vet and got worming stuff for him and wormed him. The next morning he did not eat his breakfast and looked very unhappy and was lying on his bed. I went shopping and when I came home all I could smell wass the stench that only parvo gives out and he appeared to be dehydrated, I took him straight to the vet and he was PTS as were 3 from the same litter the day previous. I have totally bleached my yard patios and house. Now Oliver has had 2 big vomits in the past hour but is drinking water. I am wondering if he ate too much and it has been very hot here today, if he is off in the morning he will be going straight to the vet, I am wondering if he can get parvo as he is only 16 months. I know Elka could be at risk as she is under 12 months but can older vaccinated dogs get it.

RIP Mia off to the bridge you go another angel for the flock. Mum that was very lovely of you to do that and beautiful that the kids were with her. And the vet sounds like ours he does the same even comes to houses if requested,
