Swollen Anus.. Shes Home.. She Pooed!
KOE replied to boxagirl's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Thank the lordy for that -
My old Vizsla had sashas blend then onto metcalm but I give my shepherds sashas blend capsules or glusaclymine and they eat it straight from the hand . They love it and I can tell you from experience that the glusaclymine is great for humans as well. I find the capsules easier as my lot eat from plate to plate.

. True piles are those that present with PAINLESS BLEEDING due to swelling up of blood vessels in the anal canal. OR MAYBE SHE MAY HAVE A BIT OF SOMETHING STUCK THERE -

To the vet mydear more than likely piles -
From a fussy eating GSD to your GSD Tell mummy to feed you cat food cause that is what I get a lot of the time because I am fussy too PS I like salmon pate by Whiskers the best and I have to eat the biscuits attached because my mummy rubs it through with her hands. Oliver

Hills Science Diet What Is Wrong With It?
KOE replied to SueM's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I bought a big bag of science diet when I bought one of my puppies he was fed on it, at thebreeders. He would have nothing to do with it when he came here, so I gave it to the pound and went and fed him the same as Kim. But our vet here sells a lot of it. -
Well I am glad you have her home now truth to tell who drank the whiskey hope it is benign my fingers are crossed for you both
-
I am impatient how is she but when your finished cuddling her will be fine. I am so glad she got through the surgery. cheers

Kim hates the vacumn cleaner and tries to kill it, Elka thinks its out to get her, Now Oliver is a pain in the ass because he loves nothing more than to get vacumned. He whine at me until I take the head of it and groom him with the sucking pipe maybe he is a weirdo

Years ago my now gone dogs were fed on pal meaty bites and pal cans all lived to ripe old ages and were fine. My dear old abbey ate nothing but chicken pal, this lot here look at me as if I am trying to poison them.

Just Noticed A Huge Lump
KOE replied to Joey Rocks My World's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My old Vizsla Abby had lumps the first one just appeared and it was a rush to the vet then they came weekly and they were fatty lumps not long before she went to the bridge she had a huge one growing between the front legs. Go to the vet to make sure but if she is oldish they are probably just fatty lumps that the oldies get. Give her a hug -
Great site and what a great dobe On your site I laughed when I read a German Shepherd needs a lead or words to that effect, it reminded me of when taking Kim to the kennels as she got out of the car a man was jogging and as she jumped from the car the leash snapped and she off after him, thank god I obedienced trained her and ocne I yelled at her to drop she did, just as she was about to launch herself at him. I went straight to the saddler after kennelling her and got him to make me a leather collar and a leash from a bulldogging rein now I have no worries of the lead breaking. So the words on your leash site are as true as written. cheers

My friends Golden Retriever was 13 plus years when she had 3 puppies.
-
For normal worming yes worm her, I would actually go to the vet and have a check because you will require to vaccinate her if she has never been vaccinated before as once you get into the built up areas there is more chance of picking something up, and as Mana said dont heartworm her until she has a test, I will probably get in trouble for this my current dogs are on heartworm but my old girl wasnt and at 9 years of age I was not about to start her and she died at nearly 14 years due to losing movement in the rear end. And look out for the neighbourhood males if she is in season or in 57 to 63 days you may get a surprise package.
-
Mana Oh course they can ;) Allyt58 maybe she was better at cleaning her mess in her younger years and now she is older she forgets to do it if you are worried take her to a vet.

premium food less dodo to pick up shinier coats whiter teeth and if fed properly not more expensive than supermarket bought stuff. The optimum is also a good one.

Fido's Free-itch Rinse And Hydrobaths
KOE replied to 4 Paws's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
For me it is cheaper to buy at the vets as the petshop is 10.00 dearer but my friend buys 5 ltr bottles from the vet shed and she uses a lot through the boarding kennels and she said that is the cheapest place to buy it.
