Pumba destructo mutt went away for the weekend my back yard was neat and tidy and 3 happy gsd"s he was home 1 hour and cyclone Pumba had hit it toys everywhere 2 chewed up sprinkler heads and holes dug, oh peace will rain when my adult son and his destructo mutt move out

Maybe get him checked out to see if he has anything wrong medically. Have you checked what genetic issues that breed may have. Or just put enough food in his bowl that he will eat in a sitting and dont give him guarding food such as bones. I am probably not much help here but that is what I would do. get the vet to check his teeth just in case.

What next cant they find any more dog breeds to pick on My 3 gsds go to the gun club and we stand about 2 foot away from the firing and they love watching fireworks so I can not see how shoting a gun can scare them, unless they are nervy to begin with or they have had a fright about something elsa. go figure the RSPCA havent they got better things to worry about like cruelty to animals.

Ahh Erny dont beat yourself up I am sure Kal understands and everyone gets tired and a little cranky at times, I am positive she wont hold it against you, love each other while you can. Kim the GSD 1x $1800.00 brand new rosewood dressing table chewed the face off 2 draws, shredded a feather pillow, the legs on oposite sides and ends of a $4000.00 wooden bed,4 mobile phones tv remotes then I found rawhide bones, Oliver (GSD)has wrecked nothing that I can think of, and Elka(GSD) has been very good until son and dog moved in now they try to mutilate the clothes on the line they have trashed the garden and wreck my pot plants sprinkler systems and hose fittings are a wrecking zone the cord off the hydrobath and the list goes on, they do not get left unattended in the house anymore

Well Oliver still hasnt had the tests, we are still waiting on another poo sample and he has been puking again. Have you ever followed a dog around for nearly a week to get a sample. He will go bown the back but if he sees me looking he just lays down. He waits til I go to work and then I cant work out which is his cause the poos in the yard are all normal looking, now he has pusy, itchy eyes which is being treated as an allergy. So now I have a day off I will be able to catch him doing his business, he is back to eating normally (for Oliver anyway) for a big dog the girls out eat him 2 to 1 he doesnt eat much. He is off to the vet again tomorrow morning to be weighed and his eyes looked at again. At this rate I will need a second job to pay the vet.

Riley aka Riles 16th May 2003 to 30th June 2004. If only I knew what was to occur I would never have taken you in for xrays I would have said bugger the A Z it wasnt that important anyway. I talk to you each and everyday where you lie on my dresser and still miss you madly. You were the highlight of my day and night. I am sure Kim knows you sit there as she stares at you each morning even though she has Oliver and Elka to play with. Oliver had his last antibotics today and is more his happy self he has been teasing Elka to play with him this arvo, he is going back to the vet with another poo sample on Saturday morning and will test it again if he still has undigested food particles in it he will do the blood test. I asked him today to do it anyway just to make sure. His stomach is still rumbling and he is still burping but his poo is solid again. So hopefully it was just a bug in his gut from all the rain we had but I still think it has something to do with that spot on.

Well thanks for that, I know it is my fault I should not have left them unattended, the pup who does not belong to me is seperated from my 3 to eat now.

this vet is on the ball and I have every faith in him. Oliver is now drinking copious amounts of water and tonight he ate his tea but is now burping and has the belly rumbles just waiting for a toilet run to see what happens at that end, I have just googles EPI and I hope to god he doesnt have that I have a friend whose Dobe has that disease and also copper build up in his liver he is under the same vet so all the stuff that will be required is on hand. The Dobe is into his 2nd year with it and although a bit on the thin size his is controlled by diet and drugs but touch wood so far Olivers faceas looks nothing like his which is sometimes yellow and gooey or straight out runny. Will post as soon as I know more thanks everyone and you know who.

Faceas tests came back clear no worms or giaurdia, he is putting him on a course of antibotics before testing him for pancreas as one thing the test showed is that his food is not being digested properly. I am cooking him mince with no fat and rice.
