  1. That was beautiful now I have something in my eye
  2. If it is the spot on you will have to wait for it too get out of his system.
  3. Dont use the frontline it is either giving him a reaction or burning him, I put one of those spot on things on Oliver and he went very wierd. My mums dog has some sort of reaction to Frontline gets a red stomach and screaches when she put it on the second time so she threw it out. Dogs are like humans and can get allergies overnight. hope he feels better soon.
  4. Mine refuse to eat it they go on a starvation diet but the horses liked it as treats I always fed mine Euk but they went off it( think they changed it) tried supercoat and they got sickish and the coats went dull and there was a lot of cereal looking stuff in the bag, Royal Canin to get here you need to be rich so mine now get bonnie working dog super shiny coats and look great, but any other sort of bonnie and they get the poo's.
  5. UP what a fantastic link When Oliver had hat spot on it totally changed him and turned him from a pussy to a tiger and for a non aggressive dog to an aggressive dog. He is totally back to normal these days and I still reckon that it was the spot on that changed him So Frag how is the little Lion dog doing.
  6. Rest in peace sweet Jessie go play with my Riley at the bridge while you wait for your master. Standing on a hillside in a field of flowing wheat a GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG laying at my feet
  7. We are really, honestly, at our wits end. It has gotten to the point where I cry when I look at him. I am starting to hate him and that is not the way I want to be with a family pet. I've never been without a dog, I love dogs so much, but I really can't cope with him. quote above If you hate him let someone else take him please for the dogs sake, I have 3 gsd's and both me and my husband work fulltime shiftwork and my dogs are great they have each other whilst we are away and when we are home they are with us, inside the house. I never owned a GSD until 5 years ago but did a lot of reading first, and that is one thing you dont do with any dog leave it mainly to its own devices no wonder he is a nutter. Walking each day for a short time then being left in a back yard no matter how big it is, is not a life for a GSD.
  8. I have only read the first post and this is what I think. This dog is bored out of his brain. I dont normally say this but with a new baby coming find the poor dog a home where he will be nutured, attention paid to him and not left on a choke chain so he can hang himself.
  9. Wait till you have to take your dog to the vet to get a pink blankie out of his bum - Then tell me how funny it is!! OMG what happened?? Atlas would have ate it of course
  10. Do what I do, dont leave them together unattended and when they are together any crap starts tell the instigator off or sin bin it. My bitches have had one fight and I do not intend them to ever have another. I have what I call a safe zone.
  11. How many dogs do you have? I have 3, QUOTE How often do you train etc. Try each day even if it is in the kitchen cooking tea QUOTE Do you find it hard to train all of them? Not really I say sit all bums sit I say stay all stay I say drop 2 drop Elka glares (ps needs more training) QUOTE What are their rough ages - ie: are some retired, do you have multiple dogs at trialling level? 5 years,3years and nearly 2 years I dont trial as there are no obedience clubs out here QUOTE Do you feel that you have enough time for each dog? Yep when I am home they are with me on holidays they are with me. Now I have my car set up we are going back to the park for a romp every day QUOTE Do you have multiple breeds to train or do you only have the one breed? Any preferences in working style? I have 3 GSDs and of course they are the smartest dogs in the world

  15. Elka is two years old next month and always drinks with 1 foot in the bucket or bowl thats why I have tiles
  16. deepest sympathies for your loss run free
  17. rest peacefully in the fields sweet one
  18. That is not nice all German Shepherds are smart usually its the handler not the sharpest tool in the shed :D
  19. Bedazzled ask your vet for sylvet capsules they are really expensive but give them a go, massage seems to work as well as does heat packs. best of luck it is awful having to make a desicision but when all other avenues are exhausted, you really have no choice. Hugs for you and your boy
  20. Try feeding sardines along with the meal or cat food (a fish one) and wash him in Fidos free itch rinse, but make sure it is the rinse not the shampoo and try feeding him bonnie working dog biscuit, and he may just change after a week.
  21. for god sake he is a puppy let him be one or do you want a statue dog with no oomph they do grow out of it.
