RIP dont be sad you gave her a chance and a good 12 months she will sit waiting for you.

I would first get an xray to see what is going on before letting any one else touch her, just in case there is damage that can not be picked up another way. And see if she can be xrayed minus the anesthetic.

Desexing is the responsible thing to do, if you do not show your dog. I have a dear friend who shows and rarely breeds her older male is now 9 years old and is having his spleen removed tomorrow he also has prostrate problems. Get rid of the bits he doesnt need and it will more than likely save you some heartbreak and loads of cash down the track. I have a 2 yo desexed at 4 months and thee aint a thing wrong with him.

Oh Bob and Jeanette what a horrible thing for you to endure. Please accept our sympathies love W, Kim Oliver and Elka Please share the poem I received when Riles passed and hope you find comfort in it like I did. I was standing on a hillside in a field of flowing wheat And the spirit of a German Shepherd Dog was lying at my feet He looked at me with kind dark eyes ancient wisdom shining through And in the essance of his being his love shone clear and through His mind did lock upon my heart as I stood there that day And he told me of this story of a place so far away His tale did put my heart at ease my fears did fade away About what lay ahead of me on a distant day I live among gods creatures now in the heavens of your mind So do not grieve for me my friend as I am with my kind My collar is a rainbow hue my leash a shooting star My boundries are the milky way where I sparkle from afar There are no pens or kennels here and I am not confined But free to roam gods heaven's among my shepherd kind I nap the day on a snowy cloud gentle breezes rocking me And dream dreams of earth and how it used to be The trees are full of liver treats and tennis balls abound And milk bones line the walkways just waiting to be found And even is a ring set up the grass all lush and green And everyone who gaits around becomes best of breed For we are all winners in this place we have no faults you see And god passes out those ribbons to each one even me I drink from waters laced with gold my world a beauty to behold And wise old dogs do form my pride to amble at my side At night I sleep in angels arms her wings protecting me And moonbeams dance about us as stardust falls on thee So when your life on earth is spent and you stand at heavens gate Have no fear of lonliness for here you know I wait. Rest in peace Sonar,

How sad but at least she just went to sleep, that is the way I hope my guys go curled up asleep in their favourite spots. please extend my sympathies. RIP sweet Glitter.

Try resting her first with only out to the toilet walks on a leash, if there is no improvement in a week I would be going to the vet. One of my girls limped for over 6 months and was under vet treatment, once she was xrayed she came right so we assume it was chiropratic. best of luck

Rest in peace all dogs and cats PTS in pounds this month all over Australia.

He may have pulled a muscle high up in his thigh area, put your hand up under the groin area and see if the tendons are tight if they are you may need to go to a doggy manipulator.
-
YOu are putting poison on your dog I used one of those once the girls were fine but it sent Oliver nuts and it went on for about 8 weeks turned him from a quiet gentle dog into a raving lunny, the only thing we had to wait for it to get out of his system, I will never use it again. it is like he had a reaction to it.

Rest in peace old man

That is very sad please accept my sympathies.

Maybe the breeder said they were, some people do anything for a sale.
-
Have you had his ears checked as he may be deaf, deaf dogs are known to bark and howl. either secure him or try an electronic bark collar, if you try one of these, when you remove it, the trick is to hang a u bolt on his collar about the same size as the box so the dog thinks he still has a bark collar on.
-
If you smell the cords they actually smell like mice my Boxers ued to chew them off everything, luckily for them we had a good trip out system, unlucky for me they cost me a fortune, I ended up spraying nilodour on them.

Well done :D

:D each to their own I suppose

Labs are pigs, put water in with his biscuits to slow him down while eating. He is probably gulping the food whole and that will keep him hungry.
-
As I said they do not bark for nothing so I praise them especially when there is a person hanging around, we live on the banks of a river and have a lot of gear here and have had the shed broken into so yes I praise them. I actually bought Kim and trained her to be a guarding dog.

http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...=27390&st=0 I hope your dog turns out okay but it also does not hurt to find out more from the actual breeder and a vet.
-
Yes Frank ignore me
-
Didnt have a selection I would use. If my shepherds bark I always go and look tell them quiet because they do not bark at nothing.
