I rememeber many years ago after returning to the car with our dogs after a judges lecture and noticing a light come on in another car nearby. Out pops a woman hitching down her skirt and then a male judge who is married, but the woman was deffinently not his wife! My mother and I was giggling like mad :-p Ahhh what some people will do to win ;-)

The younger males wernt as well furnished as you would expect of a more mature dog, bitches were more even and a little better furnished. Some of the younger dogs were not walking as well as one might expect and maybe that was a factor in refusing the award. My speculation only! -
Group 1 specials anyone?

It was the Tibetan Spaniel dog Challenge which was refused. I overheard some of what was said by one exhibitor, in which they confessed to the judge that they knew that one of the dogs had the wrong shaped head. If you know what your dogs faults are and are refused a challenge, then why contest it? -
Who cares about 5 minutes of fireworks when you can go to a dog show? LOL Both last night and todays show went smoothly, show was split with groups 1 and 7 inside, proberly why the show looked smaller than usual, entries were 900+ I won both CC's today and Minor in group with the Crested's, very happy indeed :-D

I overheard one woman last week complaining that one lot of toilets were locked (8am) she was told to go use the ones elsewhere around the grounds. Last week was the same with only one toilet with paper in it very early in the day. I just make sure i bring my own...just in case ;-)

That happened to us in SA last year, We set up our gazebo, morning show we showed the dogs and then i took the trolley with dogs back to our caravan for lunch and was going to bring them back to the gazebo for the afternoon show. When i got back to the gazebo, we had squatters, not one lot but two! One guy with an irish setter pup in a crate and another lot who was our opposition! I rolled the trolley under the gazebo, i looked at them they looked at me and then they moved.....to the entrance of the ring LOL where for the rest of the day everyone entering and leaving the ring had to go around them. Only in SA
