Ooooooh a butterfly bush, I remember those :) Lovely shots CC. I love and miss the good old bumble bee :) ETA. I've got that bumble bee kid's song going through my head now "I'm squishing up my baby bumble bee, won't my mummy be so proud of me ................................" I didn't know we had a macro thread in here (or I'd forgotten :) ) I haven't got a macro lens (yet) but took this shot with my magnification filters, the other day, which I liked I call it Fairy Posy :) IMG_0697-Edit.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr and a life size for comparisson :) IMG_0703.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr

A couple of rose pictures. I had the most perfect, beautiful red rose. A really deep red but no matter how hard I tried I could not accurately represent the colour in a photo so I cheated and went the black and white route :D 35/15 IMG_0680.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr 36/15 IMG_0670.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr

I don't think the dog actually bit the hand off. I think it couldn't be saved and was removed later. No way in hell I'd be putting my dog to sleep for what could quite possibly have just been a split second lunge after something appeared under the fence. I'm shocked at those that would. Obviously we don't know the dog involved and whether aggression was a worry previously. That would obviously change my opinion.

So if a kid runs out into the road and gets knocked down by a car is that the car driver's fault? Yes kids do things they shouldn't but that doesn't mean they aren't to blame for the consequences.

Thanks MDD, it was using the Canon 24-70 f2.8. My favorite and most used lens. I love the sharpness you get with it.

Exercising Reactive Dogs Thread
teekay replied to megan_'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I'm really glad I popped in here before bed tonight. What a wonderful update on Justice, Snook. I am so happy for you that it was the drugs making him so much worse. It's such a big thing that he can now relax at home and being able to play a few games at the park is an added bonus. Wishing you continued baby steps of improvement. -
Sorry Canetoad, I missed this. It's a bit hit and miss with these photos but it is neither long exposure or post processing really. I move the camera as I take the shot to get the blurry effect :)

What a wonderful bundle of puppy cuteness. I agree with Kirislin. How on earth did they fit inside her Congratulations, so pleased it all went smoothly and Jolie has taken to motherhood so well :)

I've come to this thread a bit late but just in time by the look of it. Hooe everything goes smoothly and soon :D

My turn for a catch up :) The first two are abstract seascapes. I got quite addicted to doing this style of photo  28/52 DSC01046-Edit-Edit.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr 29/52 IMG_0306-Edit.jpg by Tee Kay, on Flickr Then I got a little obsessed with shells  30/52 Simple shell by Tee Kay, on Flickr 31/52 Shell 3 (1 of 1) by Tee Kay, on Flickr

Too often Just when you think you've husky proofed everything she finds another way. Lets see if I can list them First, was definitely our fault. Fences not up to scratch so sorted that. Second, I left a wheel barrow propped up against said fence "DOH" Third, dug out. Put puppy pen panels on the grass - grass has grown over it but she can't dig anymore Fourth, kid coming to call for my then 8 year old left the gate open Fifth actually bashed through the fly screen. Not only open top half of windows. There are more times than this. As I said, just as you think you've got it covered......................... And no, she absolutely doesn't come when called although if I am quick enough and get the car near enough to her to open the boot and call her, she will come and jump in because car ride means beach or forest walk. These times I always make sure I DO take her for a walk on the beach or in the forest so she still associates the car with good stuff. Bloody dog, she's sent me grey. Luka and Jenna have only got out twice, both of those instances were following Mya but it's pretty easy to get them back. :)
-
Luka loves a neck/chest rub. He will sttetch his head up looking like he is in heaven when you do it. Mya loves the top of her head or just below her ears scratched. She'll really push into your hand when you scratch under her ears. Jenaa loves a good ole bottom rub. She will present her rear end to anyone for a scratch, the tart. :)

I saw this the other day. May be worth a try as long as you don't think your dog would manage to eat the fabric. www.allpetseducationandtraining.com.au/snuffle-mat-mayhem.html

Maybe they have finally got their act together. I did receive Jenna's renewal documents a few days ago, actually before they just started taking the new premiums. Ridiculous that I should even be saying this is a good thing though.lol

I'm another one that would say wait. No one knows how they are going to cope with a new baby, especially a first. As others have said could be fine if bub and pup are cruisey but if they are both difficult that's a whole lot of stress you do not want.

Oh my goodness, that photo is gorgeous. I want snoooooĆ²ooooow

Thank you Perse, I am actually tempted to print this one :)

Had another play with the camera the weekend. I like the effect of this one. It's really simple but I like it 27/52 Peace and Tranquility Peace and Tranquility by Tee Kay, on Flickr

Looks like a life well lived. Run free at the bridge Champa. So sorry for your loss Kirty

Thank you so much MDD, that's very kind of you :) Love that shot of Koda, it's so difficult to photograph dogs when they're playing. I haven't managed to get a good shot yet. Well done
