  1. G'Day all, I am new to the forum *waves*. Thanks to a couple of you for pointing me in the direction of this forum, it is awesome! Hubby and I have two furbabies, Sydney the Blue Heeler, (9.5) and Boston the B&W Border Collie (3.5). I know dock diving is new to Oz - just wondering if there is anyone in QLD who does it or who knows of a way we can try to bring it up here to QLD? Sydney's favourite thing to do of ALL TIME is to run and jump into and swim in water - so she has, as I put it, unofficially been dock diving for many years lol. I was happy to see there is a veteran's class. Boston will do it too - but mainly because she just wants to copy her big sis (she is a bit of a belly flopper at times haha). I live in Brisbane. Thanks heaps all!
  2. Hi ILovKelpies, and Wherezaball ILKelpies, hopefully the GC team will get up and running, but in the meantime there is another training area slightl closer to you at the moment too. As Wherezaball said, there is Awesome Pawsome at MG on Fridays; but there is now also (as of last year) Saturday morning classes at the RSPCA Training Centre (next to World of Pets) in Springwood. I have been going there (because it's closest to me) for the past year or so, and have recently graduated over to the same team's training on Thurs nights in Fairfield (RSPCA). If Fairfield is thesame place you are referring to with the Sunday training, you don't have to go to Sun's until you are team ready, which can take some time. (PS Wherezaball, this is new FF member Jodie, Boston the BC's mum ). LOVE watching Cooper run and thanks for passing along tips to Nealle (which she also passed to me ). Also, I have a friend on the GC with a ACD puppy who just asked about Flyball so now I know I can tell her to contact you, yay! Cheers.
