Sorry to Hi-jack I'm picking up my new addition in the morning and I am going with pet insurance ( I can't insure until tomorrow as he will be exactly 8 weeks) My insurance policy wouldn't or shouldn't have any exclusions as I have not seeked treatment for any condition or illness? The statement of not being covered for anything you have seen your vet about worries me.. what about the crutial ligament form that needs to be signed off from your vet? and the once over I always like to get for peace of mind when bringing a new pup home?

I have yesterday purchased a puppy, with the guideance of some great people and I have not met him or his parents.. I found a great ethical breeder who was prepared to listen to what I wanted and in return I accepted her advice!, I think my puppy will be perfect for us

I had an adult moggy when we got or Chi puppy, apart from her stalking him while he was tiny they get on great! add a couple of years and along came Quatro our Bull Terrier Miniature, the cat took a couple of months to come around to sharing with 2 dogs Add 1 british shorthair kitten and all still get along great...except Calvin the Brit trys to "hunt" all the other animals Our Older moggie Tahlulua still doesn't "like" the others but tolerates them.

I had a not pleasant experience, my pup arrived smelling like a pole cat, and the trailer smelled worse. It took quite a few weeks for a white pup to return to white from pee yellow :p

I get WOOOO WOOOOOOo at from Quatro until I say a proper hello complete with kisses and hugs ( Sooky Boy ) Lilly is a jumper and I ignore that behaviour until she stands for a proper hello

That Bull Terrier Miniatures love to be lap dogs -
I have a red and white Bull Terrier Miniature boy, I was looking for a quality pup and he was the only one avail.... :D So not much choice..... Though it is MY fav colour. When looking for a bitch OH really wanted a white and luckily our Lilly White girl fell into our laps too!!! So we both got the colours we prefered............. We would have gone with another colour because soundness and Temprement far outweigh the colour of thier coat! Bring back to me the saying...Beauty is only skin deep

I too thought I'd be able to scrape enough together for an unexpected vet bill, but after reading some posts here on Dol. I'm going to go with PIA however I'm deciding between accident only with $250 excess or the Major accident and Illness with $500 excess. From what I read most claim for Accidental injury only... who has used it for Illness and what type of illness was covered? My Breed is prone to Kidney problems and PPL..(Eye Condition) would these be considered "illnesses" or injury?
