in 2 weeks we'll be at our 3rd show. our first all breeds at durack. Took another (sort of) stacked photo. So hard to get a proper stacked photo when you've got to stack and shoot. He's grown so much in the last few months. here he was a few months back 14 months old and at 16 months old

Just found out that they haven't sent envelopes back yet. The person i talked to believed the numbers would be sent back in the SAE(which i included) once printed which they are still doing. I've only had 3 show entries so far but the receipts got to me pretty quickly thats all. not saying they're slow, its more that i'm just comparing it to what i've experienced so far. How are you supposed to know that they got your entry and therefore whether you should turn up. does everyone call or just assume they got it??

As the title says. Have others received confirmation of entry. I haven't received mine so just wondering.

I have a resource guarder and i believe its important for a dog to give up whats in their mouth as its valuable in emergencies. Especially when they've got an icky cane toad or such. We saw a behaviourist for this and dominance issues and taught him to spit food out and respect me as a pack leader. The methods we used weren't the most positive but were the right thing in our situation but not things i'd suggest to most. Different if you see a behaviourist and they suggest it though. I don't think its ok for a dog to growl at its owner. I'm sure there are a few threads on here about resource guarding, and others will have some suggestions.

amounts differ depending on which kibble fed but i remember when i fed my borzoi on premium kibble that i fed about 4-5 cups per day at about that age i think. so it doesn't sound exactly unreasonable to me.

nuheart(ivermectin) and pro heart(moxidectin - tablet) are both heartworm only options.

If the pet store need to report the breeder number then if there are a lot of stores using the one breeder that should be a red flag for getting checked out.

i tend to recall that it was mentioned that the exhibitor expressed her sadness at this happening to her pup. She was not happy and stated it in a comment on youtube. That contradicts what the above statement says.
