Isn't it just amazing how so much noise can come out of such a lttle mouth This lot is so noisy, especially when they cant find the milk bar We have had a good night, I managed to get an hour or so sleep/dose in and Mum and bubs all doing well :D
-
OMG, just had the best 4hours sleep thanks to my kids for taking charge. It is amazing how much easier 'puppies in the house' make it here Our babies are all going well. Cynda has been panting quite a bit. She has already had 4 good meals and have just given her some icecream, had heaps of water, and I have just given her some rescue remedy to try and calm her down for a while. I have to make her go out for a walk, and she has a good wee, and straight back in to her bubs. I will try and get her in for a the once over tomorrow..... :D It is also my daughters 11th birthday tomorrow, so apart from her 'suprise', she has 5 little bubba's to love

I am so sorry Heidley Well I am knackered. Cynda sorta started at 1am, nothing really till 3am, felt a sac, but just not progressing.Had to race her to the vet for some oxytocin and 5mins later, black/brinlde male 325g, then 310g brindle female half an hour, then nothing for another hour. Big red boy :D 339g, another hour, small red boy 280g, then 3/4 hour Cynda junior 305. All good weights but Cynda sure felt it this time the poor girl. Has retained a placenta too so will take her to vets tomorrow for check up. These buggars had a slow start but they have been full on from the moment they were born Cynda straight into motherhood I have just been lying in ther with them and admiring/dozing

We have 5 babies. 3 males, 2 females. All doing well:)
-
Wow Missymoo, COngratulations Cynda has nested yet again and is now going to sleep
-
Yes well it is bloody freezing outside and we have a storm brewing so there is no way she is going to have a chance to go outside :D
-
Yes well, tell that to CYnda who is, I think, adament she is going to have her puppies outside Take her out for a walk, no lead, and she bolts from me, so put a lead on her, and she just wants to come back in and sit. My bloody kids have been running amok too so stressing me out which has been stressing Cynda, so not helping :mad Forgot to add, i have the webcam on her so can watch to see when she starts ;)
-
Aw Missymoo you beat me. Congratulations Still got a hell of alot of panting and nesting going on here so think we are in for a looooong night
-
Still nothing to report except a whole lot of nesting, and then sleeping, then outside for a pee, then nesting again
-
Might be joining you tonight Missymoo ;)
-
Alloysha as adorable as yours look, HELL NO! 5-7 will be just fine thanks. Ok, we have a temp drop, (did it 3 times in a row)and bit of nesting, but no puffing/panting as yet. So hopefully the next 12-24hours :D Good luck Missymoo and am crossing fingers for a troublefree whelping for mum to be and you

Oh buggar. My washing machine has just died. With 3 kids, and a litter due, it couldn't of picked a worser time
-
I am putting it down to a mis-reading with the thermometer the other day. It hasn't been that low again and she has no signs of iminent labour at all Infact, she is sprawled out, on my bed, snoring her head off.
-
Aloysha and Missymoo, I bloody hope not

OMG, so sorry BB Puppy famers, tell me about it. There is an aboriginal lady across the road with 5 bitches (mungrals) and 1 male and they have had litter after litter :mad Rangers go round, they tell them they are just looking after them for a freind, so get away with it. Bloody ridiculous.
-
Took a couple of photos of Cynda this morning @ 1 day to go And this is her bed when she doesn't want to be in her whelping box. And yes, it is on my bed How many do you think?
-
As long as they come before the 5th August all is good. I plan to enter in our big double header speciality shows in Nov. There are 2 UK judges coming over and one of them bred Cynda's grandsire so cant wait to meet him and get him to sign his/my book :D :D Will also be pups first show. Should be a lot of fun and a whole bunch of laughs  There is a few of us going to do an obedience demonstration too. In the UK, staffords are a hell of alot different. They dont run together, they dont work together and they just cant believe that we can get our staffords to not only work together, but wagging their tails and enjoying it. Should be good. Oh, I am taking Kimba in this. Meanwhile............. :coffee:

Congratulations Allerzeit on your new arrivals. I hope she settles soon for you and takes over the feeding. I do not have any suggestions but would try what Jetpoint recommends

Good luck Marinapoint, and for a trouble free whelping:) Cynda temp is down to 36.5 from 37.1 taken at 6.30 this morning. But other than tht, she is normal. Only just had something to eat though. Until she is full blown first stage, I wont get excited
