  1. Has anyone else heard the rumour there wasn't going to be Pet Expo 2007 for Brisbane Yes, The Venue was not booked in time - I got this info from my QFA Cat Club newsletter I love the Pet Expo! -WithEverythingIAm
  2. Awww... they both look lovely in the hydration backpack - wonder how they'll go WITH WATER in it? It'd sound a bit different with water swishing round in it! So does this mean I have to buy some more ruffwear gear? hmmmm... what toy will my doggy's need in the new year? Only thing is dunno if I'll have any money then, as have to build up my kitty cat birthing supplies! -WithEverythingIAm
  3. Hey KK, I never did see that pic you promised of Bronx wearing the Palaisades Pack. Or Tilly's Jet either for that matter. Or the pic you took of Rock with his gear on! -WithEverythingIAm
  4. Permoxin is also another good flea/tick preventative. Highly Effective Tickicide and Insecticide. In laboratory trials, a single application of PERMOXIN prevents tick attachment for over two weeks and resulted in greater than 98% flea control for 20 days. It's also good for keeping bitie things (mozzies, flys etc) at bay. That is originally why we first purchased the product - our Boxer was having a problem with mozzies biting his ears! -WithEverythingIAm
  5. Oh yeah - I always help put out Agility Equipment at my old club, and put it back again. I also helped out with Canteen at trials for old club, when I wasn't actually trialling my dog, then go back to canteen after I'd put my dog thru the ring. -WithEverythingIAm
  6. If you have stayed long enough to title your dog, and enjoyed the benefits of club membership for so long, it is to be expected that those that have given up their free time to help you might appreciate you contributing something back to your club. Another way of reducing the 'stigma' and contributing to your club is to volunteer to go on committees, or take on other regular responsibilities. Most clubs are short of volunteers and especially short of instructors. The more people that take the time to learn to instruct the less pressure there would be on existing instructors. OK, But you are saying the exact same thing to what I said above here... That is exactly me. I'm not Instructor material. I never winged. I went to every meeting on a different night to Obedience. I paid me fees each week. Wouldn't have to have if I'd taken on the role of Instructor, BUT I don't think people should have to pay money to be taught Obedience by a crappy instructor, ala me! -WithEverythingIAm
  7. WHAT?!?! You went all the way to Sydney for the Sheltie Nats, n you didn't go!!! :p -WithEverythingIAm
  8. Nope another one - was almost going to be a ruffwear distributor in Oz, but was too slow - they have someone in Perth who has them, but I think it actualy works out cheaper to buy from this other website in the US - Including the postage LOL. can you post the link for the website you recommend, pretty please. I love the look of those coats PM me! :D -WithEverythingIAm
  9. BTW - you're actually saving over $65AUD + postage KK - that includes your 1/3 $40 postage from the US, then there's the toy you requested - which one was yours? Hammerhead, I'm assuming? -WithEverythingIAm
  10. Yeah MUCH cheaper to buy straight from US, than from this Aussie mob, then pay whatever their postage on top. They're a very nice product though. Yours is sitting here in the box in the computer room KK. -WithEverythingIAm
  11. Theres a few Boxers in the US with HIC titles. Here's one kennel which has some... SemperFi Boxers It's my dream to train n trial my Boxer. -WithEverythingIAm
  12. Yup agree with DD completely. Also, there's also a stigma with some dog clubs that if you've titled your dog, they automatically think you're going to want to train others as an instructor. I personally think I would SUCK at that, because I'm just not a good teacher. LOL Hey at least I admit it. -WithEverythingIAm
  13. Ooooohhhh... A Rotti doing HERDING! Maybe there IS some hope for me doing herding with my Boxer after all?!???? Did you compete shek, or was it just a practice day? Any photos? -WithEverythingIAm PS - This is my 900'th post Woohoo!
  14. That's also my concern InspectorRex. One of my girls will be mated soon and i wouldn't like to change her diet. Also a shame that i more than likely won't be able to raise the pups on EP either. Not a lot of point if puppy people won't be able to buy it either. Do they not have any smaller bags of the one you bought? Until they get more in? I'd look for a place that sells it online, or maybe switch to another easier to obtain super premium food like Nutro or Natural Balance. Not sure who sells Nutro in your area, but priceless pets sell Natural Balance on their website - make sure in "special instructions" you ask for the Puppy Blend one though for your girl in whelp. -WithEverythingIAm
  15. That's DISGUSTING! You shouldn't have to pay for ANYTHING that's past it's used by date! Did you ask to talk to the manager? I personally wouldn't buy anything for MYSELF past it's used by date - especially at FULL PRICE!!! -WithEverythingIAm
  16. Pet Stock at Caboolture. Different prices/different sizes/flavours. Go in have a look - I love PetStock. -WithEverythingIAm
  17. Ahh yes, but you see we get discount on Vet Bills, stock etc. Especially good for the aspiring Cat Breeder Oh & helps when Vet you work for is Director for local Pet ER - discount there too if something goes wrong? :D -WithEverythingIAm
  18. Yeah Rub it in KK - I'm just a crappy lowly paid Vet Nurse! OH is a Rep for Peters Ice Cream - he's more qualified than I for that type of job! -WithEverythingIAm
  19. Glad to have helped Shoelace! See those silly EaglePack people should have hired me as a rep - I'm already helping people find the product! Oh well. -WithEverythingIAm
  20. There's plenty of Power formula at Petstock in Caboolture. I was there on the weekend - 3-4big bags. I actually applied to be a rep for the company, and never heard a word back from them, after I'd told them i wasn't really qualified, but they wanted my resume anyway LOL. If you're looking for a Natural Alternative to EaglePack, there's always Nutro or Natural Balance? -WithEverythingIAm
  21. It is true - so such thing as a "Black" Stafford. Same as no such thing as a "Black" Boxer. Just the modifyers (stripes) are so thick, no red shows thru the coat. -WithEverythingIAm
  22. Brindling is to do with modifyers (the black stripes) & how thick the modifiers are. Tiger Brindle is where the black stripes only SLIGHTY show Normal Brindle is Mostly red with nice even stripes Reverse Brindle is where Thicker Black strips which appear bigger than the Red parts Black Brindle - where the is hardly any - or no - red showing - just black modifiers. -WithEverythingIAm
  23. Yeah I kinda already knew that your dogs are spoilt. That's why I haven't told my 2 pupsters what your boys get - they'd wanna go live with Aunty KK then :p Did you get my pm? Am seeing if another DOLer wants to put in an order with us too? On another note, got those Collars/Leads which I bought especially for Lure Coursing. Tried them on both dogs, and OH actually said "Gee those leads would be excellent for Obedience wouldn't they?" So I actually got approval of my purchase! :D -WithEverythingIAm
  24. Nope another one - was almost going to be a ruffwear distributor in Oz, but was too slow - they have someone in Perth who has them, but I think it actualy works out cheaper to buy from this other website in the US - Including the postage LOL. I'll be ordering this week - they actually get their Ruffwear in each Friday, so it gets posted on their Friday, usually take a bit over 1 week to get to Oz, clear thru customs etc. So I'll prolly order this coming Friday - if you want me to put an order in, you can just pay me when I see you next? want me to pm you the addy of the website I buy from? -WithEverythingIAm
  25. :D :p Dammit KK - why didn't you tell me this at LC last time? Day after I bought a WHOLE HEAP of RuffWear (my fave doggy brand) from my fave website. It's a few dollars cheaper than the one you found, shipping was supposed to be $41.40 and I only paid $30 US for 1 Webmaster Harness (which is what is under the palasades pack), 1 set of Grip Tex Bark n Boots, 1 K9 Float Coat (for Rocky - Molly already has one), & 1 Mt Bachelor Pad (right size for the sof-krate!) LUCKILY for you, if you wanted to get it, I need to get Molly a Webmaster Harness, and some Boots also, but wanted to check on size first. So if you wanted to get that particular one, tell me, because after I receive my order for Rocky's stuff this week, I'll be ordering Molly's stuff, and that would save us one postage (probably approx $25US for all that). -WithEverythingIAm
