Not a dog but my parent cat (a moggie) is 21 and will be 22 later this year :)

Hi all Kepala rang me on the weekend and told me that they have double booked our March Kepala on the 9 of March so he has to cancel on us. Every other weekend in March is booked also. He did suggest we do it on Monday March 10 as it is a public holiday. This works fine for me but I wondered how many of you go away etc before confirming. Dale needs me to let him know ASAP so please check your diaries! Cheers

Spoke to Kepala today, we are all systems go for this weekend We have 11 dogs, so enough for the booking, but if anyone pulls out we may be in strife. If you have any friends with doggies ask them along- its going to be 26 degrees so perfect whether. Unfortunately both the friends I bring cant make it this month Cant wait!

it took us almost 15 months to get the papers for Bruce. We purchased him on the cusp of the legislation change that said you couldnt register a litter without microchip numbers however the breeder sold them without microchips as it was the changeover period. then dogs vic wouldnt let her register the litter without microchip numbers she had to have the whole litters numbers and apparently one owner failed to respond to requests for numbers. It took around 5 phone calls and 10 or so emails before the breeder registered the litter minus the one pup. it was pretty drawn out and annoying.

If you're keen to come along, please add your name, your dog/s' name, and what you'd like to bring, to the list! Or, feel free to ask any questions. For those who haven't come along before, our DOL booking includes exclusive use of the Lagoon Pool, the main grassed run (with shade) and the newly built bbq pergola area in the run from 10am-2pm, and use of the other runs where available. A few of us also tend to hang around later than 2pm (Kepala are fine with that, there are always runs available). We will plan to have a BBQ for lunch, will post a suggestions list of what to bring For anyone who does want to come along, there a few things to know: 1. We are going to have fun and let the dogs have fun (this is a big one!) 2. If your dog is not so good with others, it is ok because there are other runs you can use 3. We want ALL the dogs to have fun, so no humping, fighting etc allowed. And as above there are other runs we can use. 4. The more the merrier 5. Not restricted to DOL members 6. $15.00 PER dog (Sorry, but there is no discount for bringing multiple dogs/puppies, its $15 a dog/puppy. Has been this way since we started). 7. BYO drinks 8. We usually each bring something. 9. I am happy for those who do not bring food to pay $5.00 but i need to know how many are not bringing anything so I can make sure we have enough. leah and steph: great to meet you guys and your broad of crazies- all lovely dogs and I think Rosie has found a new partner in crime in Amber! Dead Sheep- I wanted to take Dolly home! There is just something about her that makes you want to put her up and cuddle her! Pip: we missed you today, glad to hear that dakota is on the mend, fingers crossed you can join us next month! to everyone, we had a great turn out of 14 dogs today and we all had a lovely time. We are booked in for the 2nd sunday of each month in 2014 so fingers crossed this is the resurrection of kepala. thanks so much everyone for making it an enjoyable day! ps: i want to see photos from those who took them! cant wait!

they do give us some chairs but there is rarely enough to go around, so any spares are most welcome :)

sorry you can't make it pip We have napkins so I can bring those and the OH is already picking up some chicken skewers with the sausages. I'll just get him to grab some soft drink now as well. Your a champ :) Looking forward to meeting you and the dogs!

To everyone else- I have all the bbq necessities covered as well (plates, cutlery, cups, tongs etc) and bought a bottle of tomato sauce. Perhaps others could add a few things like a cake, soft drink, napkins, chicken etc to their food list? :) That would be awesome if you could :) Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing everyone- we still have 13 doggies and the weather looks awesome so we are set to go ahead :)

Very sorry to hear dakaota and tika are unwell. Fingers crossed that the vet gets to the bottom of Dakota's troubles and is able to set her back on the path to being the happy, healthy, barking fluff ball she is. It's horrible when the furries are sick so if you need anything please let me know. I think we are all sad we wont get to see you at kepala this month but am sure you will be back with a vengeance next month :) Thoughts are with you and all the best at the vet this avo
