The last few Kepala meets we have ended up with stacks of unopened bags of chips and snacks so I thought it would be better if people used the list below as a guide so we get a bigger variety and less wastage? Please note: Kepala has increased their price from $15 per dog to $17 per dog If you're keen to come along, please add your name, your dog/s' name, and what you'd like to bring, to the list! For those who haven't come along before, our DOL booking includes exclusive use of the Lagoon Pool (from 10am-1pm only), the main grassed run (with shade) and the newly built bbq pergola area in the run from 10am-3pm, and use of the other runs where available. A few of us also tend to hang around later than 2pm (Kepala are fine with that, there are always runs available). We will plan to have a BBQ for lunch, will post a suggestions list of what to bring For anyone who does want to come along, there a few things to know: 1. We are going to have fun and let the dogs have fun (this is a big one!) 2. If your dog is not so good with others, it is ok because there are other runs you can use 3. We want ALL the dogs to have fun, so no humping, fighting etc allowed. And as above there are other runs we can use. 4. The more the merrier 5. Not restricted to DOL members 6. $17.00 PER dog (Sorry, but there is no discount for bringing multiple dogs/puppies, its $17 a dog/puppy. Has been this way since we started). 7. BYO drinks 8. We usually each bring something. 9. I am happy for those who do not bring food to pay $5.00 but i need to know how many are not bringing anything so I can make sure we have enough. Hi all I have had a win for us with Kepala. I rang and spoke to Dale, the manager, who is the a great guy and very customer focused. he has assured me that the new $45 group charge will be waived for the DOL group, as we are regular and loyal customers and he doesnt want to lose us. We will continue to have the bbq free of charge also. the only change will be the $17 per dog rather than $15 per dog. he has also said we can have the activity area for longer, from 10am-3pm rather than 2pm which is awesome. the pool time will be slightly reducded to 10am-1pm. the will also have a fridge and sink installed in the pergola by next kepala date I have asked for the $45 waiver and free bbq offer in writing so i dont have a painful experience every time i go to the office with our $$. so its a win all round good on ya kepala for recognising loyal customers and good on ya dale for being a champ :D

Not a worry Terri would be great to meet you. If you could let us know either way as soon as you can that would be great, as we work with minimum numbers and also for catering. Hopefully we will meet you then!

I am after a recommendation for dog behaviorist for Melbourne Victoria. Must be experienced, ethical and reputable. I am in the northern suburbs of Melbourne (near melbourne airport). Must be flexible and able to visit outside of standard mon-fri 9-5 business hours as both of us work. We dont have major issues but would like some advice on a few things we need to improve, especially before we introduce children to the mix. thanks in advance!

I rang kepala this morning and canceled our booking. Hopefully we can all catch up in March. I hope I did the right thing steph:-)

This dog wasnt clipped, it was shaved completely bald, and at a beach in 30 degree heat with no sun protection on (I asked). Yes there are worst things in life, but seeing this little dog, with no protection against the sun/cold and to be told the reason (and when I said why dont you just vacuum every day, the reply was 'who can be bothered) it made my blood boil.

As in shaved to the skin. Completely bald. The reason: cant stand the shedding. I have no words.
