  1. :D There wasnt room to say 'and border collies'
  2. I've seen photos of 'silver' pugs and they look like albino pugs to me. I've got a black and a fawn pug, I would recommend fawn if you are after a quieter life the blacks are nuts! lol
  3. I'm in Sydenham.. You're right - This morning I was looking through the review handouts given at the session and it's basically stock standard information you'll find in any generic puppy training... I'm trying to be positive about it by thinking 'perhaps she's a great nurse, just not a great puppy preschool teacher, but the way she handled Benny makes me think otherwise. Wouldn't basic handling and fear be part of vet nurse training too? If you're in sydenham there is a very reputable obedience school that does puppy classes just down the road from you: http://fourpawsk9training.com.au/ It's in Keilor Downs, very popular, and is nationally accredited.
  4. Bruce is here, a ball of black devil. You can read his introduction in the general thread by clicking on the link :D Bruce
  5. ha ha ha Bruce is a bit of a handful- plus he never wants me out of his sight and is in that horrible 'biting everything that moves' phase. sigh. Jam Friendly- I do believe they are brothers! Sue told me she gave the quiter, more reserved boy to you guys and we got 'the flea in a bottle' as we have 2 other dogs and he needed to be extroverted to survive here! lol. Winston is gorgeous, love the name!
  6. As he settles in he gets naughtier and naughtier...Bert was a bugger of a baby too so thankfully we are prepared. he is a good boy sleeping from 11pm till 7am and not needing a toilet stop. plus, he's toilet training is going great, no accidents in past 2 days
  7. My fingers and toes tell another story lol Forgot what it was like having a pup!
  8. Well, he is finally here....Bonipug They Call Me Bruce aka Bruce. He's a terror on legs and I think Bert and Sally sometimes wish he would find another home, but he is here to stay Sorry they are not the best pics, he is like a flea in a bottle and very hard to get a good photo!
  9. With border collies the traditional black and white is probably the most popular. but the blue merles are the most beautiful, of course ;) with pugs, fawn is still the most popular, tho I am starting to see more black pugs out and about
  10. Mine both have custom made barka parka beds in our dining area sorry dont have photos but you can see them here http://www.barkaparka.com.au/index.htm but their favourite sleeping places are our bed and the couch :D

was the good authority personally there and are they qualified to make such comments? they took eye witness statements, so yes

apparently the dog was only playing and over exciteable. not condoning any actions just what I have heard on good authority
  13. anyone who kicks/hits my dogs just for coming close better be a fast runner I'm not excusing rude dogs but there is such a thing as an over reaction and lashing out at any dog that gets close to yours is not sensible nor the right thing to do in my opinion. of course I am not referring to an aggressive dog charging at you but just a curious dog coming in for a sniff. yes, the owner of the curious dog should call it back but the poor dog doesnt deserve a beating because its owner is a twit.
  14. hope to see you there! are you bringing your boys?
  15. hey I know that beach, its Altona dog beach :D We'll be there tomorrow if you want another bc to play with
  16. the breeder promised more pics this week, hopefully we might see one just of our boy she hasnt told us which one is ours yet, there are 2 boys in the pack :D
  17. I call my border collie Snout Girl because she is the first dog i have owned with a snout! lol (I've only had pugs all my life so being able to kiss a snout is a real novelty!)
