Yep it's one of those 3 for sure!! Actually, looking at that nice bent tail - I think it might be Chili. If its a purple collar its Chili.

I just wanted to say too that I think PJ did a really good job of handling Jyra yesterday - and thankyou for being mindful of where Chili was. I think Jyra behaved the best I've seen her yesterday and was really impressed how she seemed to be relaxed while being close to other dogs. Good job PJ, your work with her must be paying off.

I've already lined my Dad up to make me one - I have heaps of room out in the paddocks for it too. Now I just need him to finish all the other jobs I have lined up for him so he has time to make it!! Oh and incase anyone wondered - Chili figured it out and did a good run her 2nd time around thank goodness It was worth staying til 2nd last.

We're leaving early too - hope to get a few runs for my girls. My sister Hayley/Chook is coming too. Can I just ask please that people be a bit wary of Chili - she's had some fear aggression problems that seem to be resolved (she's been excellent at obedience club with other dogs) but if you've got a dog who might be a bit snappy - please don't approach her. She'll be on a purple blackdog lead/collar. PJ - please stay right away, thanks Indi on the red lead/collar is very friendly and the pups will bark and sook at everyone but I'm sure they'll come around. They love cuddles too so feel free to pick them up. Very excited!! Just getting my car music organised for the big journey.

Someone who will suggest trying different ways of doing things, but accept that different things work for different people and not push one way only of doing things.

The vet suggested to me to feed tinned food - if its just a once off and does the trick I don't know why you wouldn't give it a shot. Its also nice and soft if they're feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Mix some paraffin oil from the supermarket with some canned food (don't give the oil into their mouths, if it gets in their lungs = big trouble) and keep your fingers crossed The vet gave me some little tubes of stuff that had to be squirted up their bottom :rolleyes: when Tiger had some issues after eating too much bone. Once it was in, you had to try not to let them attempt to poop for as long as possible (I crated her) while it softened the poop - this did the trick for her. Goodluck!

Elvis (or anyone else) can have a run with Indi - no problem. Bet she won't even notice! Maybe we should chuck Elvis, Banjie, Reilly and Indi all in together!

We're in!!! Chili and the pups started their training tonight ;) Should've tied a bag to her tail!

When I say "running the puppies" all I mean is I wonder if they'll let the pups have a little look at the bag flapping around - I don't mean give them a gallop around the course, they'll only be 10 weeks old! I'll ask tomorrow about having the day off work, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Oh great - in the evening, thats good for the hot days we've been having. Do you think they'd do a baby puppy fun run for Checa and Desmo? That would be so cute!

Did a quick search, but I can't find the dates? If its the 15th and I can get it off work, I will bring Indi and Chili for a run and possibly the pups if I can squeeze them in, just to bite everyones ankles Who else is going?

Wow! I didn't know that - I've been using the shampoo on Chili (known as the naked mole rat dog at the moment ) I better give the squeaker that Santa has bought her to the puppies and get her some of the lotion for christmas instead!

What are the details? Its next weekend right? Both days? I'd like to pop along for a look, I'm working sat afternoon and have GSDclub sun morning though. Might bring one of the kids for a visit.

Just a side note - but it might be useful. I feed my guys flaxseed oil and was buying it from the supermarket which was expensive but I've since discovered that Horseland have 1lt bottles for $12.95 Much better.
