We like the Rogz collar and lead sets Heaps of nice colours and patterns to chose from and they are adjustable enough to last awhile. I especially like that the collars are designed to keep the pressure off the buckle, which is the weakest point.

I'm so dissapointed, my entries for this show were returned It said "Too late - catalogue printed" on the envelope but I know I express posted them before entries closed, so can only assume they went missing and arrived late. Bit upset that I didn't find out until yesterday when they arrived in the mail, considering I've taken time off work etc, but such is life So, I'll be there with my show dogs as a spectator!

You could get him a dog coat (the Weatherbeeta ones are great) or a heat mat for his bed
-
GSDs hopefully due Easter Sunday (24th)
-
She'll have quite a few hundred dollars to fork out to begin with for his xrays and other health tests too

Are we allowed to do the survey more than once if we own multiple dogs?
-
Louis Donald wrote a great article explaining the differences: http://www.gsdcqld.org.au/Louis.Donald.all....specialist.htm Or did you mean examples of the 'type' of dogs more seen in the 2 areas?

Dieting Doggy...harder Than It Sounds..

I buy the homebrand frozen mixed vegies and microwave a couple of cups of them to add to a halved portion of dry/meat when I need to slim one of my dogs down. The vegies do them no good (or harm!) and makes them feel full so they're not always hunting for more -
Unless you're one of the poor suckers with GSDs!! Nah, all good - its local for me so I still get a sleep in

I've heard of far too many GSDs dying due to balls getting stuck, especially the solid rubber ones We don't have them at all here, just soft toys, size appropriate kongs, soccer balls, or the big Aussie dog toys. So glad you and your dog are ok, hope your arm heals quickly - bites are so painful

Yeah i know lol ;) its just ive been looking at smaller dogs and cant seem to find any i really like. I like kelpies and border collies etc but i just worried my yard wont be big enough for them I've got GSDs and also a couple of corgis - I find the corgis are very like the GSDs in many ways, except for size! They're active, outoing, playful, pretty much the same coat/shedding and they come in better colours! Maybe corgis are a breed to look in to?

Did he get exhibotors to mouth their own dogs? or not look at all? Many judges prefer exhibitors to mouth their own dogs these days. Re "touching dogs" ... I've always wondered why some judges find it necessary to spend so much time going over an exhibit .. except of course to look for the "finer" points of the standard. Surely "on the move" is where you will see construction faults. cheers I showed him my girl's teeth but he didn't seem to really look - he touched her breifly over the withers, more like a pat, and then sent us off around the ring. He was a good judge of GSD in my opinion, judged them on the move - but I am biased as my girls did really well under him -
3/52 of Termi - "Helping" Xilla with her toy Termi is the boofier head on the left

3/52 Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water... Thats Vice, my mad little 10 month old girl! She was actually biting at her splashes, not drowning
-
I'm biased, being a GSD owner/breeder, but your situation and plans for the pup sound perfectly suited for a GSD in my opinion!

Im Going To Get Flamed For This.. I Do Feel Really Bad Though..

Sad situation, but even though you didn't know they were pets, you were well within your rights - no flaming applies not a fun day for you -
I'd like some help understanding how to crop photos please. I took a pic today and I want to use it for my 52W4D pic - found 5 minutes where it didn't rain and had to make the most of it! This is the original This is how I would crop it, just because it looks better to my eye - no other thought processes involved! Can anyone offer some advice please?

Nope - in my experience, the 2nd time they fight is much more serious than the first

Please excuse the ripped bed in the background - this is the little one above getting told off by her big sis for going near her bone
