I'm not sure if DogsVic is different to here, but you send the dog's registration papers (the one with their pedigree, etc on it) and send a photocopy of all the qualie certificates. Thanks - I think it is the same here but not sure.

Some Questions About Dog Ownership
Sue & Waldo replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
I have a doggie door as well. -
Another newbie question. I downloaded the form to apply for our CCD title and we need to attach the original registration form. I assume that this is our registration with Dogs Vic. Do you have to send back the qualie certificates as well?

Thanks everyone. I am thrilled.

The dog I was complaining about still does not like our back garden. The handler took a deep breath and rleaxed-afterall the trial was not in that scarey garden.

Whoo hoo!!! Well done, good to see it continued to go well after I left. Well done on your title and a lovely place and highest aggregate too - not bad at all. Bronte ended up having Bowen Therapy this afternoon and the therapist said she was in all sorts of bother and I should have a different dog tomorrow - hopefully not a clingy emotional one like I had today. Thanks-it was good chatting today. I am glad you found a reason for her strageness.-she sure was not a happy girl.

Cindy & I have a brag! AM CCD pass with a score of 84-not placed. PM CCD pass with a score of 88-2nd on a countback. Highest aggregate CCD score and TITLE! My little champion even dropped in cold grass! Well she did once in the AM trial and by the PM it was warmer for the little darling!

Sorry, no clue I'd like to say she's just being a b!tch, but that's more the excuse I make for Ruby Maybe she is just a bit sore? Was the grass wet? Will she do these things on grass if you provide lots of rewards for doing so? If she still won't with rewards on offer, I'd say she's a bit sore Thanks for the reply-her baviour sure frustrated me! It seems it is only a problem in our backyard-she is scared so something must have happened. She won't go there alone. It is a secure locked yard, no neighbours with kids or anything so something must have happened. The good news is that she is not broken (apart from her drops which have ALWAYS been broken) which is a relief becasue we are trialling tomorrow.
-
Everything with Cindy is broken! No auto sits at heel, no sit at end of recall, no drops, no SFE if we are on grass. Perfect sit/drop/standstays on grass though. If I train on concrete all is well. No sign of rashes or soreness or general ill health. Happy to play and rough 'n tumble etc. Any clues?

Well done! I've had my fingers crossed for you after our stay discussion! Yep she worked like a champion-very impressive! As for Cindy-well the ground was wet so drops were not on so...I am still stuck on 1 pass. However my brag is that I was thrilled with the way we worked together. I finally felt confident in my own handling.

I was feeling confident-Cindy has been so good at training. Rain = no drops

Need Advice To Give To Friend Looking For An "oodle"
Sue & Waldo replied to a topic in General Dog Discussion
Please do not flame me. I have a "mini labradoodle" who I love dearly and never trade her but I would NEVER get another one because I've learnt too much. What is it about the mix she likes? Does she understand the cost of DD compared to pure breeds? If she is concerned about "in-breeding" ask her about the range of breeding dogs the breeder she spoke to has. I would be happy for her to email me for advice if she wants to.Feel free to PM me. -
Just love it! Thanks so much for posting.

Wow that sounds organised. What do you mean by session number? Ness is doing the drive training package - just being her sechetery, she has logged off for tonight. Such a clever "sechetery" (aka secretary even) :p
