I can't watch it cause my TV isn't tuned in for the ABC. Depending on the hysteria on FB I might not bother watching it on the computer -

Most Of This Diet Stuff Is Bull Dust
Rebanne replied to sandgrubber's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
after feeding dogs for around 36 years now I can totally agree that most of this diet stuff is bull. I have fed pure raw, pure dry, mixed, the cheapest of foods to the most expensive and honestly none of it made any difference to my dogs. My dog with the most health problems was mainly fed pure raw, the dog with the least amount of problems was fed some of the cheapest food going including huge amounts of rolled oats. -

Heartworm Questions - Blood Tests And More
Rebanne replied to Katdogs's topic in General Dog Discussion
Why don't you just get the test done asap and ease your mind? It is obviously bothering you big time. -
No

I imagine cause you are saying you want to breed as quick as possible. That would make most people very wary and poodles are exploited enough already. What do you say besides you want to breed within 12 months? Do you talk about showing, health tests etc?

My latest puppy, 8 month old greyhound is very chewy and found an old nylabone that I have had for around 10 years. She loved it until she lost it somewhere. Only pup/dog that did like it. I'm buying her a new one to keep her happy. Can't give her frozen bones etc in the house with the other dogs. They all get bones outside but in the house Phoebe can have her chosen chewtoy, no one else wants it :D

The Adventures Of Ronin And Tigger - Update 29/05/17
Rebanne replied to Yonjuro's topic in General Dog Discussion
One of my favourite songs I've done video's of the greys running with some ACDC soundtracks, works great -
My rising star is Phoebe, 7 months old now. Picked up a couple of baby in group and has merrily disgraced herself since turning 6 months old. We do have our first 6 points though  A friend has shown her her in this video, we won't be out much as my knee has died and I am waiting to see the surgeon. Warrior is at the front

kdf I was replying to the OP. They were the ones mentioning greyhounds at shows. If I was replying to you I would have quoted you.

Not all greyhounds at shows are racebred. Most are actually show bred ones and are very much in the minority. I have show bred ones and I can assure you they are much loved pets and I don't know of a single one put down cause they weren't successful in the ring.

Glad you are happy with the outcome, here's to continued smooth sailing :)

that is what I would do as well. Even if the tubes are tied you still have to treat her as an entire bitch when she is in season.

you can get baby gates with a little cat door down the bottom. I've seen them on places like deals direct.

very cute!

Advice For Feeding New Puppy And Existing Dog.
Rebanne replied to Suzistar's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I feed supercoat and optimum to my greyhounds, pups and adults. They do well on it. No reason you can't keep your pup on it. -
What's the difference between these and the Curly Coat Retriever please

Guidance With Toilet Training A Puppy Using A Crate
Rebanne replied to remytheretriever's topic in Puppy Chat
My nearly 7 month old greyhound pup has been running with the adults since she was 7 weeks old, firstly with her litter mates and was 16 weeks old once the others left. I've always left pups alone with the adult dogs and never had a problem. As Archie and your girl will most likely not live together all their lives it would be a good idea to teach them both to be capable of living alone and independently. I don't make any special effort to teach mine I must admit, it just seems to happen. -
Guidance With Toilet Training A Puppy Using A Crate

you will still have plenty of opportunity to teach Remy where to go to toilet as I am assuming she will be inside quite often with you when you are home. -
ears are totally wrong, would drive me batty having that in the house
