ok she needs more then you are giving her. I'd be looking at 2 cups a day of your advance, 4 feeds of 1/2 a cup and 2 feeds of the chicken necks maybe 3 at each meal. My youngest is only 14 months old but I was feeding a litter so am struggling with individual amounts. Now we know she is 2 kilos other's maybe able to help with actual amounts?

must admit that was the first thing I noticed as well

Thankyou! Thats all I am doing is puppy milk mixed with her feeds. Im doing one tablespoon of soaked kibble and then 1-2 table spoons of milk.. is that enough or too much. . I don't want to under feed her How much does she weigh? And is she ravenous? And underfeeding her for a day or two won't be harmful. The food you are giving her will be vastly different to what she is used to anyway. And her name? We need a name :D

there is no reason to give your puppy milk unless you want to. Just a small amount with her dry food is all she needs. Have water available at all times. None of my pups had milk once the bitch closed up shop. I usually don't bother with puppy food beyond 12 weeks. Nothing wrong with the Advance you are feeding. Your pup should be able to handle raw chicken necks at this age so I would be making one meal of them. Try for about 5 - 6 little feeds per day now and ease off to 4 by 6 weeks, then 3 until around 10/12 weeks. I feed my dogs twice a day from then on. But I can be pretty flexible with meals until they are around 6 months. Keep it fairly simple and not too many changes for now. Slowly add in extra's that you want like eggs, sardines etc but not yet. Upset tummies can be the death of pups and your won't have had a good start. Good luck! My very first pup was a 4 week old pup and I was a first time dog owner and there was no internet or special foods around back then and she lived to 13 :)

Bit hard with only one test. I'd be thinking about doing prog tests starting from about 60 days and taking it from there for a planned c section

Dogs are imported to add to the gene pool usually. I'm importing frozen semen for the same reason

If you were to buy a pup from me I would basically pick for you as well. I know my pups, I know who are more laid back, more mischief making etc. I would suggest a male pup cause you already have a female but I would be asking lots of questions about your female, her likes and dislikes, tolerances etc and go from there and if I thought I had a girl who would suit better then that it the one I would suggest. If there were a couple who would suit then you might be given the choice between the two. That's what I do :D

Love them but maybe Ronin needs a selfie stick on top of the harness so the camera is above his fur :D

How Old Was Your Bitch When She Went On Heat For The First Time

Sheridan ask the breeder what her lines do. Doesn't mean Bunny will be the same but it will give you an idea -
Class has been good for me cause I can see where and what I need to do. Luckily the head honcho has known me for years and is agreeable to me basically doing my own thing in class as long as it doesn't upset the others. But mainly we sit out stuff we don't want to do and stop after 3 at the most, repetitive exercises. Phoebe sees no sense in sit, sit, sit and one more sit! Neither do I are this very early stage. Luckily I am older and wiser nowadays and quite able to say no. And for the benefit of others I will say why I'm not doing whatever. i.e. no my dog needs a break right now, it's hard work for her. There is a lovely bull mastiff pup there and I noticed his owner stepped out for a few minutes last night as well. I have a 12 month minimum plan :D

If you want to collect him then do it before the implant. There have been dogs that the implant was still working for extended times and at least one was sterile afterwards.

It's taken a bit but we are finally getting somewhere with Phoebe's sits. She has picked it up pretty quick - as long as it was in front of me, and has even been offering it to me ( and others ). But sitting next to me has still been a mystery, until tonight, when she finally seemed to grasp the concept and while I still had to guide her Phoebe didn't immediately bounce back up but was happy to stay sitting for quite a few seconds. She does a lovely high stepping bouncy heel and turns on a dime :D I let her drive me for food. Most things in class I say no to. They still do things the old way. Teaching stays, full recalls (on lead) etc straight away. Older folks will know what I mean. The instructor tonight wanted me to give Phoebe a little tug when she drifted a bit wide. I smiled and said no. He was a bit surprised at that. Phoebe enjoys herself greatly and I am too.

me too and how could the OP say the bitch stood for 4 days but she never saw a mating?

Best Barrier For Behind Front Seats?
Rebanne replied to Chequeredblackdog's topic in General Dog Discussion
depending on your dogs I have just used the Bunnings panels to prevent my dogs getting into the front -
just this bit. I wouldn't subject a pup to an operation for a minor hernia. I'd do what this breeder did and discount the price a little and say get it fixed when desexed.

I got some clips to put the tags on but can't manage it yet. Damn dogs keep leaping about every time I think about picking up a collar

I leave mine for up to 24 hrs, that's my limit. They are left outside, they are used to sleeping outside at night as that's where they sleep when I go to work (Nightshift) I had someone check them last time as I was gone for 36 hrs. Happens rarely but it has been twice this year and can't recall the time before that.

I think it's a Tibbie. Those books weren't exactly a breeders bible. My parents had pekes over 30 years ago, 2 of them that were closely related, one looked more Tibbie like, the other was more like what is seen in the ring. The 3rd, unrelated, was in between the two types.

Her final act was so typical of the person Helen was. A true lady with a heart as big as herself. You will be sadly missed Helen
