  1. sorry to say some breeders are just rude, and yes I am a breeder. What breed, DOLers may be able to help with a recommendation.
  2. very easy to make your self. I used 4 melamine panels joined together with brackets and screws. Put on top of several layers lino/tarp.
  3. I have some excited young girls who are neighbours who are itching to see puppies. I can tell I will have to be very strict with them. Me, on the other hand, will be open slather on the pups from the time they are born, as much as Mum is comfortable.
  4. Check with your breeder you aren't voiding any health guarantees by changing what you are feeding. I'm not so fussy about food (depending) but give any pup bred by me a heartworm shot and all guarantees are null and void
  5. According to Monash the 10th. I think the 11th. 61 days from implant
  6. 7 weeks today! Phoebe with Great Uncle to be Warrior
  7. My whelping box is also in the living room. Greyhounds are very happy to not do much so that's easy peasy. Limited visitors before 4 weeks of age. I take my pups out into the front yard from a young age as well. No shoes in the house and no touching the pups until older then 3 weeks..
  8. As I recall the cheap ones ties broke very early on so it rolled all over the yard and the puppies had a ball. Just plugged in the heat lamp to make sure it works. ETA heat lamp works. Wait until Pheebs realises
  9. The agility tunnel arrived today, 2 days after buying it off eBay! Puppies love running through and jumping on the tunnel
  10. Everything crossed here that it is benign
  11. Besides being super excited, showing pregnant greyhounds and then puppies is the main reason I started it. They are seen so rarely.
  12. Happy to alter the title and share the post TSD, I bet Em has quite a few fans that don't look in the breeders forum
  13. due in a fortnight and I think 6
  14. Feeding twice a day is not enough food for 6 week old pups. I'd give them some raw chicken necks or wings. Bone helps bind them.
  15. I had a greyhound on 6 weeks of cage rest. Granted I was home but they cope better then the people. It was a total turn around of life style for my girl.
  16. Please go back to what the breeder advised. You can really screw up a puppy's growth if you don't know what you are doing. Then if you really want to change diet research and research again before changing. If I was this pups breeder I would be furious you are trying to change the diet literally the day you got the pup. Speak to the breeder, that's what they are there for. Help and advice.
  17. well you would know wouldn't you
