Why Don't People Pick Up After Their Dogs At Shows?
Rebanne replied to TessnSean's topic in General Dog Discussion
Oh I would love to see this, in the car park, at a show :p Wonder how funny that would be? And all us nutters cracking up :D well you know it's not always easy to get water exactly on the spot, you stand back and fling it hoping most covers what you are trying to clean and if there is a dog in the way -
have a search on youtube for videos of dogs in the ring, I doubt there is any from Ekka Greyhound stakes from previous years but there are others available.

Why Don't People Pick Up After Their Dogs At Shows?
Rebanne replied to TessnSean's topic in General Dog Discussion
Seriously, you had no idea that people don't like dogs using their personal property as a toilet How very 90's! What about when your dog goes to the loo in a public place (ie a dog club) or on a nature strip. Someone *owns* that grass or that post you know, so you are letting your pet defecate on their personal property This thread cracks me up My dog weed on a bush on a nature strip once. The owner of the nearest house came out screaming abuse at me. I thought he was a lone nutter, but obviously others feel the same. glad you think this thread is a crack up but your dog won't when it gets a foot up the backside for weeing on someone elses property. And you won't think it funny if your dog wears a bucket of water either. -
I have one like Ish has but I got mine from Aldi for around $30. I use it for the crates. I also bought an old but good wooden dog trolley off ebay for under $60 and I put all my odds and ends in there, like my chair, the walls for the gazebo, etc, saves making multiple trips
-
Huge congratulations to you both!

I'm the same Pam, won't be there until 8.30 ish. Luckily someone is minding me a gazebo spot but no idea about the car park, or anything else for that matter

Monthly Heartworm Preventative For Small Dog
Rebanne replied to koalablue's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Valuheart does heartworm only. -
are we there yet?

I know it's only January but I need a polar fleece coat made for my greyhound Piper. I want one with the legs (longish) on it but I need it velcro'ed along the back so he steps into it. I also want the body part double layer and a turtle neck on it. He doesn't do well with bending those long legs anymore. :D

my vet said to only release the dog after the object has stopped. Saves any weird bounces, turns etc

Any Way Of Keeping Neighbour's Cat Out Of My Yard?
Rebanne replied to chichihuahua's topic in General Dog Discussion
in the state of Victoria cats are treated the same as dogs. If it strays onto your property, whether it is wearing a collar or not, you are entitled to remove said animal to the pound. Cats and dogs are not allowed to wander outside their own property. -
Ever been attacked by a dog B&S? Or had your dog attacked by one? fortuntely no and no. i can understand possibly carrying a stick for protection but large poles and planks of wood? that get waved around at every opportunity? its madness it's not madness to the person with the phobia

mine still travel in the car, the trailer is for carting all the stuff.

take the 1st Benalla exit, drive through town, over the bridge, take 1st left (at traffic lights), then 1st left again. It is at the Showgrounds/footy oval opposite the gardens.

I've entered but won't be going unless the temp drops quite a lot

I just use a hose in the warmer months and if i have to wash them in the colder months carry a bucket or two of warm water to the back yard, take them to the vet and pay to use their hydro bath or put them in my bath with rubber mats on the bottom so they don't slip.

it's 40.3 here right now Holy shit, glad I didn't enter me too

Final Toilet Stop For The Night = Extreme Yard Patrol
Rebanne replied to all that glitters's topic in General Dog Discussion
her barking might not be an issue for you but it very well might be for your neighbours -
as per the Heat Policy .... everyone should know that they need to check the DogsVic website ... and decisons have to be made 36 hours before the event. it was made, to change the time to 7.30 am, when was it changed to 9 am?
-
I've not entered but if I had I would have been in bed at least 3 hrs ago to get up for the 7.30am start and not even thought of looking at the VCA site for an update at 1 - 2 am in the morning. Think they need to refine this a little.
-
what they have changed it again??? surely not how confusing
-
so you are reading from a CFA link so why even mention the neighbours brother :D
