Fern's boobs were nearly impossible to see when she only had 2 pups and were never full and firm

I think you need to do a lot more thinking on whether you are actually ready to make such a big commitment, after all if it doesn't work out it is the dog that suffers.

my 40 kilo greyhound, 78 cms tall, sleeps in a 42 inch crate, you could fit 2 BC in one that large.

Miller broke a toe at 3 months, clean break not displaced. Bandaged for a week or two, confined for a month, toe is thicker than the others. He also has a thickened toe on one of his back feet. I assume he broke it at some stage when only weeks old.

Thats interesting - I was thinking that a false floor would work for a storage area but they have a trailer base worked out with drainage points so thats out. But maybe false roof with higher trailer. no to a false roof, would impede air flow, that's why I don't like wardrobes crosswise. Once filled with stuff it would impede airflow and mine would be filled to the roofline with stuff false floor would be very doable. Very slight fall with drain pipe leading to the outside

OMG - I've got goosebumps reading that!!! Its actually more obvious in the photo than I had realised. I find the photo's taken looking down on top of the dog show the filling in of the waist line very early on, at least in Fern they did

For a small trailer I would like a wardrobe running the length of the trailer not crosswise. A 3 berth with a lengthwise wardrobe with a door on the end, not the side so I can slide my large gazebo in. Plus fit all the extra's

I charge roughly the cost of the stud fee for each puppy. My first, and so far only litter, I needed to have at least 3 pups to sell to cover the costs, 4 would have been better. I only had one to sell so was down a few thousands, only 2 pups born, I kept one. Expensive pet he is I start getting the word out and about asap. While the breed is reasonably popular as adults, lots of people that might prefer a pup don't know where or how to get one or even that they are ever available. I have helped people get race bred pups in the past. I breed without a waiting list full of people cause I would never breed otherwise, but advertise ( and vet the people ) heavily.

Hi Bel, I'm the same as you, all going well Fern will be bred over Easter giving her a due date of approx June 25th. Surely there will be others before us?

don't stress, I was the same with Fern as a baby, rocked up to a show, knew no one, at least had a chair and some shade for the pup and my lovely daughter for moral support. Set up next to a lovely dachie lady who helped me out.
