well I think it is pretty bad for a club that is on the border of Vic/Nsw to choose to go to Melb to hold their shows, did they even see if they could have held the shows closer to home, ie Albury, Wangaratta or Myrtleford?

Dad is a black brindle called Elmo but he had a lot of white behind him and parti coloured and dilute siblings, so we hoped for colour but didn't really expect it. I was prepared for a litter of brindles only!

I'm not sure piper, show bred are generally bigger than race bred so not much guidance there. Fern did a good job

Fern didn't bother with the cords or placentas with the 3 natural born, that was my job Fern's smallest bubba was 360 grams and she had 5 between 550 and 600 gms. :D I was amazed she had so many big ones.

blatant brag here for those that don't go into breeders or the greyhound thread :D Fern had a bit of a rough time but all is well now, 4 girls and 5 boys Winter Litter if anyone wants to watch them grow I think I will have to write a list out of what colour collar belongs to what pup and stick it on the wall above the whelping box, I keep having to check my book when I am looking at them

congrats to all the confirmed puppies coming , sorry to those that have missed one tip that no one told me, check your laundry detergent! don't be like me and have a tough time so can't leave the house for a couple of days and still have all those blankets to wash! I had just enough to get me by.

It could have gone either place, I went with what the vet was happiest with. It is easier to keep an eye on it there.

No ID is going to work while DV allow this sort of thing to happen back to my witches covern now Because you will have to show ID to pick them up in the future - well I assume you will, if not it won't be worth it. well you know where assuming gets people New members have had to provide ID for several months now so one would assume DV were trying to tighten things up, catch the odd bad person out etc but then they let anyone front up to the desk and get papers that don't belong to them. No questions asked. Farcical is one word that comes to mind.

sure do; for instance I have a couple of swf that I breed every time the bitch comes into season, use a different prepaid mobile for each litter and only agree to meet the new owners down at the local dog grounds cause I don't want them to know where I live,

don't use a crate if you are not prepared to get up for your pup. I used the alarm system cause I didn't want the pup to get the idea that crying would get it out. Crate was in the bedroom as well.

Goodness, how very dramatic....asking people for the same information they provide to set up an account at the local video store is to much to ask Dog Showers? I agree. Anyone would think they had something terrible to hide. nope I don't have anything to hide, I am easily identified with my name and address. I fail to see why wanting to know what somebody or something is going to do with information such as found on a drivers licence automaticcally means a person has something to hide. Does a video hire place take a copy of your ID? or do they just check that it matches what you say? When someone rings me on the phone and asks for me to verify who I am I always ask them for their details so I can ring them back. Identity theft is very real and just blindly handing over details to anyone who asks for them, well, I don't do it.

personally I have always set my alarm for the middle of the night to take a puppy out to the toilet. For the 1st week I would get up and take them out twice a night. I don't agree with making them toilet in their sleeping space.
